Request / [PC] Pokémon Uranium - Battle! Vs. Wild Nuclear Pokémon
« on: September 08, 2016, 01:09:30 AM »
Pokémon Uranium is the fangame everybody's talking about right now. As a faithful Pokémon player, I'm also playing it, and the music
is awesome! I especially like the Battle theme against a Wild Nuclear Pokémon. I have the Youtube video link here, and in the description of the video
there's a link to the MP3:

I hope someone is interested in this!

Thank you very much!

Piano Arrangements / Korados' New Arrangements
« on: September 05, 2014, 02:22:15 PM »
Hello everybody,

I won't arrange a lot but I tried to arrange again. And I need help!

[GCN] - Pikmin 2 - Submerged Castle:

The rhythm and tonality of this piece is totally freaky! I really don't know what to do about this. It took me an hour or so to even
figure out the pitch of the ostinato which is played throughout the piece. But I'm still not sure about it because the original sounds like an old music box.
When the main melody comes in, I gave up.
I just know that the rhythm of the ostinato is right but I guess the measures could be split up. In the second measure of the ostinato, there's a triplet
in the left hand which ends just before the note on the right hand so it sounds a bit like an arpeggio. I'd be glad if you could help me.

Thank you very much!

Fulfilled requests / [Wii] WarioWare: Smooth Moves - "Tower Tennis Terror"

[GB] - Pokemon Trading Card Game - "Normal Duel" -- Completed by Shadoninja
[Wii] - Wario Ware: Smooth Moves - "Tower Tennis Terror" -- Completed by FireArrow

I hope that anyone here could arrange these two songs for me, that are two of my favourites in video game music history ;D:

[GB] - Pokemon Trading Card Game - Normal Duel:

Please don't be trapped by the midi on VGM, it's heavily remixed and in the wrong key.

[Wii] - Wario Ware: Smooth Moves - Tower Tennis Terror:

Thank you very much in advance!

Music / Super Mario Galaxy Main Theme a PLAGIARISM?!
« on: September 05, 2010, 07:46:46 PM »
When I first listended to the third movement of Erich Wolfgang Korngold's Violin Concerto I noticed a significant similarity to the
Super Mario Galaxy Main Theme:

From 1:12 to 1:26 both the key sig. and the notes are the same! Only the rhythm is slightly different and the SMG Main Theme being an octave higher. From 4:44 to 5:02, there is the big reprise of that theme, just in F Major, but the orchestration with the brass section playing the melody gives the polish to concern that this theme is a plagiarism made by Koji Kondo.

Compare it to the arrangements of that theme on the site and with the "original" here, the theme also is in SMG 2, as the soundtrack is mostly made from variations of the first game: (first seconds) (first seconds)

What do you think about this? I wouldn't offend Kondo for this, as Korngold's concerto is often played in Japan, he just might had the melody is his head and didn't noticed the similarity, but if he would be confronted with that, he could be indicted of plagiarism.

Music / Violin Theme from SpongeBob Episode: Squilliam Returns
« on: April 19, 2008, 04:28:32 PM »
When I heard Mr. Krabs playing on the smallest violin on the world, I was wondering myself of the piece he played: Did Nick composed it itself or is this a real piece? I hope some of you have the answer:

Mp3 that I made:
Video of this episode: Attention! This video is an edited parody with some bad words... Sorry, there is no other...

Music / I have a catchy song in my ear!
« on: March 04, 2008, 01:13:34 PM »
Could anyone help me with a song? I heard it in a Jimmy Neutron episode, the halloween one. Jimmy transform his friends into real monsters. A lil afterwards Carl cut himself with a bonbon paper, if I'm right. When he licks his bleeding finger, he becomes a real vampire and fly away as a bat. In the moment he is flying away, this tune is played. I'm pretty sure that this is a classical piece, but I don't know what's the name of it. I already sent a letter to Nickelodeon, but they only said: "Sorry, we can't give you informations about that!", or something like that. If you don't saw this episode, here's an ear made mp3 that I made:

Please help me!!!
