ironically I started arranging match 1 theme since I like that one more then gave up cause it was too hard

I felt the rhythm perfectly but could not figure out how to transcribe it

If you got the rhythm then the rest is easy!

This is 8-bit music, which means that there's 3 channels each only being able to play one note. In this particular game, the each channel is pretty distinct and your can follow each line individually. Start with the highest voice, and just transcribe that one line. Then do the bass (you can raise it up an octave in audio stretch if you're having trouble). Finally, do the middle voice. Boooooom, you got everything. Adjust everything to make it playable and pianistic. Booooom, you got an A+ arrangement.

8-bit music is really great for learning to arrange because:
1. You know always know what is and isn't there, you just gotta transcribe it.
2. The only skills you need are rhythmic and melodic dictation.

lmk if you need any help

o: nice

Few quick things at a glance:
- Measure 14 - you've got an incoming tie flipped the wrong way, and a staccato on the wrong side of the note.
- Related to the above, I'd actually recommend using two layers where the two voices start to do different things, since from looking at the sheet it's not immediately clear what you're using the sost. pedal for. (m. 18 and similar places as well.)
- Make the sost. markings expression texts or otherwise attach them to the measures instead of the page, so they don't get lost when you start moving things around (see below).
- Try and rework the measure distribution a bit - stuff is a lot more cramped on page 2.

Fixed...

- Try and rework the measure distribution a bit - stuff is a lot more cramped on page 2.

Spent about a half hour trying different things until I realized that I could just change around the repeats in way that makes much more sense and saves me a ton of space.

I gave it a heavy check and this is all I got.

Maybe respace m9 so the whole note isn't colliding with the next 16th. Also in m14 and 30.
Aaaaand that's it. Excellent job.

Nice! Just a couple small visual things left.

- Staccato in m. 14 is on the wrong side of the note.
- Forward slash at the end of the URL.
- Move the systems closer together on page 1 to leave more room for the URL.
- Similarly make more space for the header on page 2. (You can reduce the space between the left hand and right hand staves to clear up some vertical room.)

This is still a thing.

I shrunk down the measures to try and make more room, any other suggestions? I think outside of giving it a system to itself that's just how a whole note ontop of a measure full of 16th is gonna look.

Whoops - staccato is flipped in m. 30 as well.

One thing you can do to alleviate the layer overlap is to put a 16th rest instead of the overlapping note.
