Some stuff

- Formatting seems to be a common problem of yours. I suggest downloading one of the template files and copying your work into that
- Once you do that, make sure that you follow the formatting guidelines (in this case, only put 1 dynamic marking as opposed to 2)
- The tempo is wrong, and all of the note lengths should be halved. It makes more sense for there to be sixteenth notes at a more comfortable tempo than presto with eighth notes. If you ever have trouble distinguishing tempo/time signatures and stuff, I'm sure there are others here who would help/give a more detailed explanation
- A lot of the notes themselves are wrong - primarily the last chord and LH part. You're also missing some harmonies
- I suggest adding the part that fades out at the end (it starts at your current m3)

There's a lot of stuff to be fixed to the point where it'd make a significant difference, especially considering how short this song is. If you still can't figure out the notes, then I suggest collaborating with someone else and having them help you out with it

Files have been updated. Well, I'm not sure If I accidentally put the old mus file or the new one. Probably the new one.

That happens every time. I scroll down too far and don't notice that I tap the wrong file. I fixed it. Luckily it was on Dropbox because I'm not seeing my computer again until morning.

Latios212

- This song should be in swing. (Light swing.)
- Many of the harmonies in m. 1 are wrong.
- The whole riff in m. 2 is wrong.

As it stands, this sheet basically needs to be entirely rewritten. Take a closer listen to the notes and rhythms, slow down the song, really make sure you get the notes right. I would correct things for you, but it would basically be my sheet. See if you can improve what you have. Formatting aside, I can't stress enough that you need to listen more carefully to ensure that you have the right notes.

I'm having a bit of a problem. I fixed the harmonies in m1 (hopefully), but I can't figure out how to make the last part sound right. A tremolo isn't working and I don't think it would be a good idea to put 32nd notes there. Anyone have any advice or input?

I've updated the files. Still unsure about the last chord in the second voice and how to properly approach it.

Of greater importance to me is the rhythms. Most notably in the first measure. The first three notes should be a triplet, with everything else falling in around that. Hopefully that will also fix your rest since right now it's a bit too long.

Oh and bonus points if you notate a tremolo between the very last Eb and C in the RH.

Apparently I'm an idiot because I was confusing a tremolo with a trill, and that's why it didn't sound right. Anyway, for some reason the tremolo plays slower in finale than it should, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I updated the files with a few changes based on JDMEK5HGTND67GEHF's suggestions. Sorry, that name's a bit hard to pronounce.

(Also, when you say rest, if you mean the quarter rest at the end of the first measure, it is that long in the song. Percussion plays there, so maybe it feels shorter to you because of that. I listened to the song many times and it is definitely no shorter.)

I have to disagree. The first four notes (E-Eb-E-G) sound to me like sixteenths, all falling within the first beat (the way THC has it now). I agree with him about the rest, too. I think the reason it sounds longer is because the the chord in beat three is practically staccato in the original, which means the rest in beat four sounds longer because the audio silence extends into beat three.

EDIT: Agh, I misread your comment on the rest. I think the length's all right.

Actually, I do have it as a triplet right now, but the way I set it up, it's the exact same rhythm as if I had left it 16th notes. I did a triplet worth the duration a dotted eighth note.

This is how I would do it.

Changes being:

- Removing the triplet rhythm as I agree with dudeman.
- changing the tempo to 130 instead of 120, which was too slow.
- tempo change in the second bar to 150.
- changed rhythms and notes which were missing from the second bar.
