Soviet Rhode Island is the largest state in the Soviet U.S.

Oh, and good job on these. ;)

Thanks! I think you'd probably be the best person to ask because it seems to be one of your favorite consoles. Is the soundfont accurate?

Well, tbh, it sounds close; the percussion is the main difference.

It's probably the echo of the percussion.

If you're using MuseScore, you can change it through View>Synthesiser>Effect>No Effect, or by changing the reverb dials to be completely dry, or to remove all echo.

I did the dry effect. Does it sound better? I think it does, but I didn't play too many GameBoy games, so I don't have much of a reference. I just tested and, to be honest, using the dry effect sounds the same as changing to no effect.

Well, hopefully that is better because I'm putting up two more. This time I've already switched it to no effect. There we go. Also, this Rhode Island Fact of the Day is long overdue. And by long overdue, I mean a few days overdue. (Rhode Island Fact of the Day: Rhode Islanders are never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down. Never gonna run around and desert you. Never gonna make you cry. Never gonna say goodbye. Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.)

I've been on overdrive lately for instrumentals. Don't worry, it'll probably be evened out by a long time of nothing. (Rhode Island Fact of the Day: Rhode Island is the home of some great companies. Newport Creamery, which is an ice cream place, but is also a restaurant. They only exist in Rhode Island, Mass., and Conn. They originally started in RI. Hasbro is also based in Pawtucket. If you couldn't tell, that's a town in RI.)

Just a little something by itself. It's a "remix" (if you can call it that) of Grass Land from SMB3. Sounds great with the NES soundfont (especially because I now know how to turn off effects, so it sounds accurate to the NES at least somewhat). Almost forgot the RIFD (Rhode Island Fact of the Day). (RIFD: Just like every state, there are some really weird laws here. For example, it's illegal to throw a jar of pickle juice on a trolley in Rhode Island. I'm serious.)

Nothing new, just saying that my instrumental arrangement of Outlandish Interruption from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon has been fixed. The organ and the LH of the harpsichord were completely wrong at one point and had one note off at another. I figured this out because I was arranging Severe Infestation (as an actual arrangement for the site) and it has the same LH as all of those themes. The only one that's different from the rest is Library Piano, which is what I based Outlandish Interruption off of. But now it's fixed and everyone can be happy!

I actually fixed Outlandish Interruption a little bit more since I last said. To commemorate this (which I should have already done), I am posting Severe Infestation from the same game! This is my second instrumental arrangement that is also one of my piano arrangements! Go check out my PA thread if you want to hear, and possibly give advice for, the piano arrangement. (THCFotD: Robert Capron went to my school. In case you don't know who he is, he's the guy who played Rowley in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. He doesn't look like that anymore. He graduated last year and he's already getting quite into the acting business. I know at least one show he's on, and he's probably on a lot more. Just thought it would be nice to state that I went to school with a famous-ish actor.)

It's been awhile since I've posted here, so now the Athletic theme from SMW, but NES because why not? (RIFotD: We have clam cakes here. Apparently it's not as much of a New England thing as I thought. It seems to be more of this area only. Maybe Mass and Conn. Ya know, the Tri-State Area featured in Phineas and Ferb.)

New song! And if I remember correctly, the first one here to not be Nintendo! The name gives me shudders because of the lack of capitalization. I give you sans.! (THCFotD: I have a horrible memory. Worse than most people. Sometimes I forget things immediately after finding out about them. I was once lectured by my aunt for a good 5 minutes and as soon as she finished the last word, I forgot every single thing she said. Worst part was, back then, she still told me to repeat what she said after a lecture. She didn't believe that I forgot, so I just got in more trouble.)

sans.

Wow, it's been awhile! I'm finally back with another instrumental arrangement. I gotta tell you, this one really ruffled my feathers when I was making it, but I'm down for anything. But luckily, things turned sunny-side up and it went over easy. I'll try to post more often, I just need to get my head out of the clouds. (THCFotD: This obviously goes without saying, but I love puns. Heck, I just made five in this post. I'd make more, but sometimes you have to quint while your ahead.)
