I'd just like to say, Generic Grass (Race) sounds a LOT better with an NES soundfont, but I can't figure out how to export songs with a special soundfont, so you guys are stuck with the instruments I used. They're good, but nowhere near as good as with an NES soundfont.

If you're using MuseScore it's "View>Synthesiser>Save to Score", after which you would go "File>Export", picking either the .wav or .mp3 options (because no one cares about .flac files).

Thanks, but I'll have to do that later. I'm about to go to school.

Here is the 8-Bit version of Generic Grass (Race). The Computer Virus Battle from Kirby that I did also sounds better with 8-Bit, so that's here, too.

I would yell something about chiptune limitations, but Konami chip and all that.

However, you could use some more instrument variety.

It's just a soundfont I got for Musescore. It's called The NES Soundfont. Besides, I did leave up the songs with the other instruments.

I know, but I still think it's good to stick to some kind of limitations when making chiptune songs, just to make it more convincing.

Yay! Two more songs! One is a song we all know and love. The other one... apparently also is, but it also happens to be a song I arranged for the site! That's pretty cool. Of course, the instrumental has stuff that the arrangement does not have because of lack of more than two hands to play it with.

Two more songs! It seems ThatHiddenCharacter is finally getting on top of things. Couple of things to note: The arpeggios (glissandi?) in Eerie Hotel are too slow, but I can't fix it. Also, (and more importantly) the second song is dedicated to one of NSM's newest members swimswamit! It was very hard to arrange. I also forgot to include Rhode Island Fact of the Day in the last update. If I ever do it again, I give Waluigi, E. Gadd, Levi, and Andy permission to yell at me for forgetting it. (Rhode Island Fact of the Day: Contrary to what 50% of Americans believe, Rhode Island is NOT the island off the coast of New York. I can not stress this enough. Rhode Island is not an actual island. It's right below Massachusetts and right next to Connecticut.)

Nice job on all of these songs! I can't even choose a favorite I like so many of them!

Please note I use Musescore and transfer it into Finale Notepad, so formatting may be messed up and help would be appreciated.

Finally an update! This update is because I need to lose weight and what better way than Athletic themes! Don't judge the first one. Also, don't ask why I made it that way. I have as much of a clue as you do. (Rhode Island Fact of the Day: Have you ever seen Family Guy? Well, Quahog is not a real town in Rhode Island. Unless you want to die in a horrible and unusual way, don't ever ask a Rhode Islander where it is.)

The space version definitely gives off a mario galaxy vibe, which is always good. I'm not a fan of the drums in the other one because there aren't drums in any of the versions of the theme that I've heard. The syncopated chords should almost act instead of the snare, if that makes sense, so it doesn't require the extra drive. If you're set on drums, though, I'd make it double time.

New thing! I'm not gonna stop making instrumentals, but I recently came into a great GameBoy soundfont thanks to Andy. Because of this, I'm going to make some GameBoy versions of songs. I have no idea how true the sounds are to the original. According to Andy, it is. I will only do songs that I have already made instrumental arrangements of. That is all. I have one today. (Rhode Island Fact of the Day: Pahk yah cah in Hahvahd Yahd is Massachusetts. Rhode Islanders may have a similar accent, but seriously, we don't speak like the letter r doesn't exist. We just put it where it doesn't belong. Ex: Qawtah (Quarter) or Idear (Idea). Side note: I do not do the stereotypical r thing. People make fun of me for not speaking "Rhode Islandese" if you will.)
