My First Stay in the ER (Interesting Story)
« on: July 28, 2016, 02:37:56 AM »

So yeah I had to go to the ER, and now I just have to sit in this bed and look like I'm dying for two hours. It's so boring XD here's what happened...

So I had just biked back from a Cross Country practice where had just been running for an hour and I REALLY just wanted to get in my house and do nothing. However, the house was locked and no one was answering the phone, and I also really had to take a pee. So I did just that...

Right on a hornet nest ._.

Long story short, I was getting a rash and itches everywhere after a bazillion stings and my face started blowing up to somehow make me look even more cringe-worthy than I usually am :P I went to the urgent care room and got an Epipen shot for the first time, and then they wanted to take me in an ambulance to the ER just 3 minutes away. My parents had to sign a form that said I could die on the car ride to the ER if my throat closed up, but now I'm just sitting here, feeling fine, and eating cookies while wasting space for people who could be, ya know, actually dying. I have like the hospital gown and heart monitor and everything, and I have to stay like this for two hours (until 10:30 PM ugh) so I don't get inflamed again, but honestly I feel absolutely normal.

Oh well, at least the double chocolate chip cookies are good XD

How did the Epi feel? I have to carry one with me practically everywhere I go. Never had to use it, never wish to, but still, I hear it's awful.

This is my ER story. So that night (I forget the exact date. 2 years ago or something like that) my mom asked me to vacuum the living room and the rug in our kitchen as usual, and we keep our vacuum cleaner in our office along with a roland digital piano, a steamer, a desk, sheet music, music books, and etc... But anyway when I went into the office the steamer was in the way of the vacuum, and the digital piano just like a normal piano has a wood case, and also it was right beside the steamer and vacuum. Anyway I leaned down quickly to move the steamer out of the way instead I smacked my head just above my right eye, and Oh man did that hurt so bad! My mom came when she heard me screaming and saw the cut just dripping blood like crazy and we were in such a rush to get to the ER that I didn't have time to put on my shoes and we had to bring a several paper towels because it would not stop bleeding. Then the doctors stitched it up and then about 5 days later they removed the stitches and I still have the scar from it.
