5/9/16 Interpellate (v.)- to question (as a foreign minister) formally concerning an official action or policy or personal conduct
So...Questioning someone's authority?
Makes sense. Back before the Protestant Reformation, that would've given you a lovely gift of excommunication and a fruit basket!

Lol no, you have it completely backwards. Reread that definition, with emphasis on the word "formally."

5/10/16 Waitron (n.)- a person who waits tables (as in a restaurant): waitperson
See? This is exactly what I mean when I say the English language is redundant! What's the point of this word?

Also, can it be Friday??? I have studied a TON for the upcoming AP Test, and I'm ready to not have to worry about it any longer. T_T I am retaining SO much information right now. I literally recited all of Roman history to my World History teacher this morning, and I've memorized all the Chinese dynasties along with major accomplishments of each one. I still need to study the Ottomans and relative time periods. Please send help.

Dudeman

...why in the world is the word "gossamer" a reference?

Cobwebs themselves are not referred to as "gossamers," as far as I know, though they can be (and often are) described as "gossamer threads."

5/12/16 Opusculum (n.)- a minor work (as of literature)
So The Odyssey and The Iliad? :D
(Btw, don't read the second book of The Iliad if you have to read it; all it is is an extensive list of names of participants in the war.

EDIT: WAIT, Okami, did you mean the flight machine?
