I was transcribing "Bein' Friends" when I stumbled upon a version with lyrics (and more parts.) I wanna arrange the original version (the one that plays during whenever that song plays during the game) but I don't know which it is... So, do you know?

Well, considering Mother is an NES game, it's obviously the first 1st version you linked. I'm guessing the lyric version is from an "enhanced mix" CD, a somewhat common practice for older video games.

When they made the Mother soundtrack for sale, it wasn't just the original 8-bit songs from the game. It was the songs with orchestral instruments and lyrics added. So that's what you stumbled upon.
