Rose of May [mus]

Rose of May Alternative [mus]

I'm not so sure if I have the timing correct on this one. I almost feel like it should be 2/4 and half the tempo. But I'm not sure, so I left it as is.
Both of the above arrangements are the exact same, with the exception of the spacing of the measures. The original all fits onto one page, but it's very.... crowded. The alternative takes up two pages, but they're spaced out more. I'm curious about which to actually submit, on top of any other feedback. :)

Stickerbush Symphony (Replacement) [mus]

I would really like some advice on this arrangement. Particularly measures 5-8 and 33-36 (same measures, just in different places). I'm not sure what exactly to do there. I felt that what I have is accurate, but it just feels weird. The empty measure should be filled in, but I wanted feedback on what I have so far.
And I'm not sure about the left hand; I'm fairly certain that it's all accurate. I just don't know how else I can improve it. The original has repeating 16th notes throughout instead of quarter notes, like I have. Would it be better to revert it back to 16th notes, or leave it as it is? To me, my arrangement feels empty. But then, so is the actual song, to a certain extent. It's ambient, so I guess that it's supposed to be kind of empty. :P

Here's just a few tips. I don't want to go into too much detail here, as there is another version of this that I've seen in someone's personal arrangement thread and I will just end up comparing it to that.
--Those aren't triplets. They are, belive it or not, dotted eighth, dotted eighth (beamed as 16th tied to eighth), eighth.
--That opening chord in the LH is, plain and simply, crap. It's wrong.
--Deku once told me this: No one ever holds down the pedal for the entire song.
--pp-f is just impractical. Maybe a mp to mf.
--Those chords don't sound good that low. Maybe ask someone with Finale to change some staves so it's played above where the RH is now, and fill out the chords a little.

Thanks for the tips! Is there another version on someone else's thread? The only one that I saw was 4-D's arrangement from 2009 (after running a search). I had assumed that this song was open for the taking.

-They're not triplets? That is shocking. I could have sworn that they were. :P
-I'm not good with chords. From what I can tell, the chord that plays is beyond human playability, so I tried to reduce it to playable level. Apparently that didn't go too well. ::)
-True, I'll remove the marking. Would "con pedale" work instead?
-I'm not sure how to accurately portray that chord in measure 5. In the original song, it crescendos from almost nothing to its normal volume, but I'm not sure how that would work with a piano. Would playing it as a half note work instead?
-Would it be better to have the left hand cross over the right hand to play those chords at the end? To be clear, I mean leave the right hand exactly as it is, raise the left hand 2 octaves, place it in the treble cleft, and note that the left hand crosses over the right? Or would it be easier for the right hand to play the chords, and the left hand to take the right hand's part?
-I'll also fill the chords in a bit more.

I'll work on it this afternoon; I have to go to class now.
