In my opinion, you pulled another "A Wish for Peace", meaning that a piano performance for this song suits it even better than the in-game track does. Yay for PC-lugging!

Heh, looks like I haven't been able to maintain my one-a-week streak for awhile now... I'll make up for that with an epic new PMD GtI arrangement! What a song. Between this, the first 3 dungeon themes, and Herdier's antics, this game just seethes with Scottishness -- and I love it.

In that vein of thought, it's interesting to note that in the Japanese name for this piece, "ton-ton" is actually a Japanese onomatopoeia for a "tapping" sound [i.e. like Irish tap-dancing], so it comes as no surprise to find such a vibe in the background music itself as well. What came first though -- the music or the name?

Another cover + sheet music combo video, but this time, by yours truly! Some might lament this track as being one of the more lackluster pieces of the soundtrack (since it's just a reduced version of "Choosing Pokémon"), but even so, I decided to give it some love. I did vary the texture somewhat by using the pedal, filling some chords, and varying the transposition of the marimba line, but I do believe this is the most ideal piano adaptation of this piece, as opposed to a strict transcription which wouldn't carry over the same effect (since tubular bells and pizzicato strings have very unique overtones). Enjoy~

I'm going to be an ass and I'll comment on how the small pause after the rolled chords kinda ruins the flow. Maybe a bit of rubato would help?
