Harvest:  You sure that you need to install the drivers to use a monitor?  I've never had to install them to use the monitor itself, but to play any games or use anything else.

I think I've got a bad motherboard.

Ouch, that would stink. That is what happened to my old computer.

Well its under warranty.  It is just terrible luck for me, I could be playing on a 22 inch LCD playing Crysis on Max settings yet here I am on a 17inch CRT browsing forums slowly.

That could be, but whatever you do don't call in one of those tech help dudes.  They just screw you over.

I already had my uncle come over and check everything.

Plus, I emailed the company and they said they will replace it.

1: The game might be too old, try running in compatibility mode.  If you want real help, however, give the age of the game, your PC specs, and any some actual useful info.

2: Sucks for you.

:o And what card/where may this be?

An EVGA Nvidia Geforce 8800.

It was some deal on select EVGA cards, I didn't even know mine was one of them but it came so I'm happy.

Do I dare install it on my current PC?  No, it would start a fire.
