The midi volume on my Finale Songwriter is really low, so I have to turn my main volume waaay up for it to sound normal. How do I change this?

Have you compared it to a NSM MIDI to make sure it really is quieter? I'd assume default settings are the same. Also Itunes should be able to change any sound file's volume.

I'll look into Finale's capability for this, but maybe someone else'll beat me to it.

In the menu bar, go to Window->Mixer and play around with the Master Volume/individual track volume. You can also mess around with reverb and playback instruments (eg I prefer to use Bright Acoustic Piano as opposed Acoustic Grand Piano for playback). Hopefully this works in Songwriter too.

It helped a little, but it's still not as loud as it was on my old computer. Oh well. Thanks!
