Has there been any news on Pikmin 3 since E3 in 2009?

I think other than announcing that the game still exists, there haven't been any real details on it. They said something about not wanting the other games to crowd out Pikmin so they're going to announce it when it gets a lot of attention.
I hope they hurry up and really announce it soon because I really want to play it!

I'm thinking a Winter release next year will be the earliest we see it hit the shelves.

Yeah, definitely not soon. It's been the works forever, though.
