smh zunawe

if you were paying attention you would clearly realise that i was in log base 1.21427, where .102 is equal to 1.02

Definition of a factorial
A factorial is represented by the ! symbol. It's essentially an operator that means to multiply the term before it by every positive integer less than itself down to 1. So 2! is 2*1 is 2, 3! is 3*2*1 is 6, 4! is 4*3*2*1 is 24, and so on. You cannot use factorials on negative numbers (as proven below by attempting to plug in 0 to n). It's used a lot in series.
[close]
Despite what you would logically think, 0! does have an answer.
n! = n(n - 1)!
   i.e. 4!  =  4*3*2*1  =  24  =  4*(3*2*1)  =  4(3!)

n! / n = (n - 1)!

set n = 1
1!/1 = (1-1)!
1/1 = 0!
0! = 1

Defying logic with proofs.

By the way, Mashi, a probability of .102 is a percent chance of 10.2. So you may or may not have failed math there.
Well if 2! is 2x1x1x1 and 1! is 1x1x1 then 0 factorial is just 1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1 or 1

First 2 minutes of stats class.

I seem to be missing a piece of my ear.

Zunawe

AP Stats didn't even cover factorials. I think I learned that in pre-calc.

I learned about them in 6th grade.  8) Extracurricular math stuff FTW.

Ruto

Never took AP stats but I'm sure they don't get to everything.

I seem to be missing a piece of my ear.

Zunawe

Definitely not. That was more of a comment on how little we actually did. It doesn't use any calc at all.

Mashi I literally posted this and expected to hear a reaction my god I was saving that picture for so long for an appropriate moment you have no idea

Stats is good, math is bad. Remember this and you'll do well.

Fuck logic, that shit is boring, lame and does not always support my opinions.
