If you don't have the Gamecube of DS version I recommend it. However, all the versions of the game are pretty similar, and I wouldn't want anybody to waste their money buying the same game multiple times (like I did...).

Animal crossing is a pretty fun game though, get it. Too bad about the rename, but I doubt gameplay will have been changed much, if at all.
