Looks pretty alright to me! I'd change all the Gb's and Bbb's in the bass part into F#'s and An's, for better readability. Also, you could put the bass and chord parts in the L.H. in bars like m. 10 and m. 12 into seperate layers, to make a clear visual distinction between the two.

In addition to the above feedback (which I agree with):

- Currently you have a mix of 4 and 5 measure systems (excluding the last). I would change them all to 4 measure systems. This would give you 5 systems per page (all of them being 4 measures each excluding the last which would be 3). Also, to give more room for the titles and page numbers at the top of each page (the measure numbers are kissing the page numbers currently), go ahead and shrink the pages to 90%.
- Go ahead and change the swing to like what we talked about on discord. Also, bring the BPM marking up to beside the swing.
- Copyright should be "Nintendo, Rare (c) 1998"

I'll do an original comparison later.

Oh no page 6 looks sad :(

Maybe lock the last system into the previous one? (might have some re-formatting to fit the previous systems evenly)

Nacho is correct. One system with one measure on the final page is always a no-no. Go ahead and do this:

Also, one last thing, take the apostrophe out of the metronome marking.

The last thing needed for this sheet is comparison to the original. I'll take care of that later.

I must've put the wrong file in or something because I fixed all that. I'll go get the right file as soon as I can.

Okay, so I found what the problem was.

Quote from: Sebastian on June 20, 2018, 08:12:17 AM- Currently you have a mix of 4 and 5 measure systems (excluding the last). I would change them all to 4 measure systems. This would give you 5 systems per page (all of them being 4 measures each excluding the last which would be 3)
Here, you said that changing the measure layout to 4 per system would leave the last with 3, but it really left the last with 5, but I neglected to check assuming that the math was correct and the last system would be 3. So, I've fixed it and made the last system 5 measures long. Not accusing you, it was my fault for not checking it out myself, just pointing out what happened.

To clarify, I have updated the files.

This is a pretty straightforward sheet. The notes sound good. Some final things:
- The systems are still cramped a little. The top system of each page (some, like page 2, are way too close) are really close to the page numbers. I would recommend shrinking the pages a bit to give more room.
- I didn't really check if any courtesy accidentals were needed but go through the sheet and see if there are spots you can add them. Traditionally, I add them if a measure plays a note and a previous measure has an accidental on that note.

Alrighty. I made some final edits so we can get this one moving along:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/fdtkg1vapgnawo6/Gruntilda%27s%20Lair%20%28Grunty%27s%20Furnace%20Fun%29.musx?dl=1

What I fixed:
- Spaced out the systems.
- Center-aligned the game title.
- Added a courtesy accidental in M. 20 (both hands).
- Added a courtesy accidental in M. 28 (both hands).
- Added a courtesy accidental in M. 44 (both hands).
- Added a courtesy accidental in M. 76 (both hands).
- Added a courtesy accidental in M. 84 (both hands).
- I fixed staccato placements in every measure that has a second layer.

Once you take a look at the file, I can update the original post.

Cool. Two things:
- I'd suggest moving the dyads down an octave from m. 3-8. That way it's consistent with the rest of the LH accompaniment, and those notes also play in that register in the original.
- Is there not another repeat structure we could use to cut down on a couple of pages? I'm not familiar at all with the song but it does sound repetitive and some large chunks of the sheet are definitely already being duplicated.
My arrangements and YouTube channel!
