Quote from: Olimar12345 on January 20, 2012, 10:16:57 AM-website url needs to not be italicised
-measures 4 and 8 need to be written as two quarter note triplets with the 1st note being a rest
-in the last measure-that last 8th note and the half note so that the 8th is tied to the half note.

Lol, when I was in high school jazz band, our director made us go learn the melody of a song and play it in 5 keys as a test. I picked this song! It was soo fun! XD

Mah bad, it was 2am in the morning when I did this. xD Thought everything had to be italicised. Not sure why the triplets made sense to me at the time, but I fixed it. Too bad really, took me forever to type that out, LOL.

AN UPDATE... on first page. lol

Quote from: 60FourMaster on January 19, 2012, 03:47:45 AMOh thank goodness. I was seriously worried about that. xD So I'll wait until tomorrow to show my director then. ^^

Okay, I didn't change it to a whole note, just sort of cut it off when it went high, lol. xD Got full points on range, so hopefully everything's okay.

FINAL VERSION

If anyone wants the individual sheets, PM me your email and I'll email them to you... I know finale lets you break a score like this into parts, but they aren't formatted and don't have any labels or anything. Took me FOREVER to do the individual sheets.

Quote from: 60FourMaster on January 18, 2012, 07:02:19 PMMeasure 50 = Holy crapping crapnuggets! How do you expect tubas to go that high? Tubas don't play in that octave... That's ridiculously high. Good thing other parts are assigned to it. I'm gonna run this one by my band director to see if we can play it next year. Sounds great apart from a couple of awkard-ish transitions.

LOL sorry, I think I mentioned this, but that's the unedited version. The tubas play a whole note or something similarly tuba-y in the final version... which I forgot to post, my bad! I will add it tomorrow, since I did bring it with me on a usb...

Actually, looking at this now, I'm pretty sure nearly the entire tuba part was placed down an octave after editing.

Thanks though. :)

[GB] Pokemon Red, Blue, & Yellow: SS Anne

 - For 3 Bb Clarinets: .MUS ~ .MIDI

 - For 2 Bb Clarinets & 1 Bb Bass Clarinet: .MUS ~ .MIDI

 - For 1 Flute, 1 Oboe, & 1 Bb Clarinet: .MUS ~ .MIDI

I realized I had free time to myself yesterday and got a little excited..

All of the sheets were transposed to Bb concert for the sake of range and simplicity.

The 3 clarinets is my favourite. :)

Awesome. I'll see if I have time to do some concert band arrangements.

Quote from: Korados on August 14, 2011, 10:57:28 AMThe rhythm is pretty of, I don't think it's necessarily a Swing rhythm. Maybe you could use the melody line from the one on the site for the rhythm is right there.

OT: I never liked the role of Twink, do anyone agree? ;D

I am quite sure that the melody is correct. I know it sounds a bit off, but I think it's because of the rolled chords... they land off of the beat, and since they're much louder because of the way the playback works, it makes the melody sound off as well... (at least, that's my theory xD). If you don't believe me, remove the chords and listen to it.

I did however notice that I miscounted the part with the rests, so I fixed that.

A replacement for the site...

I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to fixing Family Reunion... though honestly, I'm sure it would be fine if the ending was removed.

I'm planning on majoring in business administration, and minoring in music.

A 40 bar piece for solo piano done by ear usually takes me three hours, unless it's really repetitive or something.

Quote from: drpamplemousse on June 08, 2011, 11:15:07 PMDon't forget to make some awesome Clarinet and Oboe solos (Tangy didn't make an Oboe part and I was kinda bummed)

We don't have an oboe in our band at the moment (lame, I know), so there would have been no point. :( Sorry!

If I were to have only arranged one piece for band, I would have done the super mario galaxy theme. More for epicness than nostalgia. It has a quieter section in it where you could potentially put only the seniors, if you wanted.

Hey guys! Thanks for the nice comments :) I've very proud of my band. I've received lots of positive feedback from them and it was overall a very fun experience!

The final version is on my brothers computer... and he's away until Saturday. I do have the almost-final version (at this stage, the ranges were not double-checked, some of the parts are doubled slightly differently (like, with forest maze this version only has first clarinets playing the melody, but in the final I put all of them on it...), and it wasn't formatted yet), but other than that it's almost the same!

There's a glitch (on my computer, at least) at the end of the Song of Time where it slows down tremendously - ignore that, it's not suppost to slow down at all lol.

So, here it is! Thank you everyone, I still can't believe it's over!

If you have any questions, ask away. :D

Quote from: olimar12345 on June 04, 2011, 12:31:35 PMI cant wait to see the sheets for this! Would you mind if we played this in my college band?

That would be awesome! :) My brother has the individual sheets on his computer, and he's away atm, but I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Drop me an e-mail at jprall27@msn.com so that I can send them to you. That goes for anybody who wants the individual sheets - I will not be posting them to the internet.

Oh, and also, I don't own Nintendo or any of it's songs ;) I would also like to say that I would prefer if you ask before you use these sheets for anything besides looking at them. Thank you!
