Quote from: Dekkadeci on November 08, 2017, 09:47:31 PMGiven that Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine re-skins Puyo Puyo (complete with Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine's 2P Mode music being a near-exact copy of Satan's theme from Puyo Puyo), I like to think that's Sega eating crow with that song usage.

I knew this, but I figured everyone else did, too, so I didn't include it.

Unused Sir Slippy palette found in the data of Kirby Super Star. I thought it looked pretty cool, so I thought I'd share it here.

This is unrelated, but could you please explain why your submission is titled, "Battle", while the sheet itself is titled, "Battle Theme"? I think the initial would be simpler.

EDIT: I'm sorry, this is a really tricky song to play. Don't worry, Rwars; I've had my fair share as well.

While we wait for Mael or another updater to respond --

- perhaps you could shrink the page size to fit all measures on one page?
- those 16th systems in the LH; change it to a 16th (up) - 16th - 8th - 8th note pattern. It will easier on the fingers at this tempo, even if it is rhythmically inaccurate
- while I'm not completely sure on this, I would try removing the bottom note of each RH dyad in m1-4

Day 15

- unused graphics for the Springboard from Super Mario World exist within the coding of its Game Boy port, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
- the level Secret Sea in Kirby: Squeak Squad plays a remix of the Kirby's Adventure level theme for Orange Ocean, the confirmed location of the wreckage of the Halberd following the events of the sub-game Meta Knight's Revenge in Kirby Super Star
- Mega Man II is the only Mega Man title on the Game Boy not outsourced to Minakuchi Engineering
- the concept for the The Adventures of Captain Toad levels in Super Mario 3D World began as a The Legend of Zelda game, which was rejected
- the background music for the "Mean Bean" battle in Sonic Mania is a remix of Satan's theme from the Puyo Puyo franchise

Quote from: BoywithoutaFairy on November 07, 2017, 03:04:27 PMI'm so fucking pissed right now. My save file on my cute charm copy of Pokemon HeartGold was just erased because of "corrupted data". BULL FUCKING SHIT. That just cost me over 300 hours, and over 200 shinies.

I'd probably be angry here, too.

Quote from: BoywithoutaFairy on November 07, 2017, 03:04:27 PMI'm blaming gamefreak for their shitty programming. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my save file. I hope gamefreak goes bankrupt.

This, however... is where I would I agree with Dudeman to tone down a little. Believe me, I spent hundreds of hours on Mario Kart Wii in elementary and middle school, and my license has have to been re-filled up with gold trophies multiple times.

Quote from: BoywithoutaFairy on November 07, 2017, 03:15:32 PMall they've been doing is shoving gimmicks into what they made 10 years ago.

I've just noticed something about the Mega Man series, which I love.

Quote from: mastersuperfan on November 07, 2017, 03:56:50 PMyeaaaahhh but the title also says "Don't be pricks" doesn't it?

got 'im again msf

Look, Tobbeh; we know this is a tricky and long sheet, and we respect your effort put into it, but attempting such a song is a commitment at this point. It's not just some sheet you feed to the updaters so they can revise it for you.

Day 14

- Bloopers are fully coded to be stomped above water in Super Mario Bros., but can only be defeated in such a way by utilizing the "Minus World" glitch in the Family Computer Disk System version of the game
- the cannonballs fired by Combo Cannon give the Bomb ability in the remake Kirby Super Star Ultra, while they give the Yo-Yo ability in the original
- unlike the other Dimensions in Rockman & Forte: Mirai Kara no Chousensha, Compass Man does not have his own "Robot Master" stage
- Game & Watch Gallery 4 currently marks the last appearance of the character Donkey Kong I, or the younger incarnation of Cranky Kong
- the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit received a video game adaptation on both the Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy; these titles, however, have no relation, with completely separate developers, Rare and Capcom, respectively

Day 13

- the Regional Coins within the Luncheon Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey resemble Gem Apples from Team Kirby Clash Deluxe
- the Kirby & the Amazing Mirror incarnation of the Fighter ability directly reuses sprites from the Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland Backdrop ability incarnation
- Harumi Fujita had composed 3 tracks for Mega Man 3 by the time she gave birth and had to be replaced by Yasuaki Fujita
- Vs. Excitebike was remade with Super Mario characters as BS Excitebike Bunbun Mario Battle Stadium, a title for the Satellaview peripheral
- the arcade versions of Mortal Kombat II & 3 contain fake character names to fool anyone examining their coding

Quote from: Maelstrom on November 06, 2017, 11:01:40 AMWaluigi was already working on an arrangement here: http://forum.ninsheetmusic.org/index.php?topic=9687.msg389911.

Oh please, how could he not have known? This seems to just be an attempt to stir up trouble we don't need here.

Excuse me; no need to be rude, but how on earth can you expect this to be a better alternative to WaluigiTime64's submission? This is a little disrespectful, if you ask me.
#1845
Perhaps you should listen to the original and carefully check it section by section, Tobbeh? That might things easier for both the updaters and you.
