Quote from: Fantastic Ike on January 20, 2022, 06:10:36 AMHeya, first of all nice console lol. Can't imagine there are too many onsite tracks for that.

Second of all, think you meant to put 19:15 in the time stamp. That's when the track starts on the video for me.

Now onto the sheet itself, it's a simple sheet so I don't have much feedback.

m3, m12, m20: So at first I was very confused by the lone eighth note until I listened to the track. You might want to consider changing the straight line to a gliss line. Of course, some of the glisses here might not be super easy to translate onto the piano, so you may want to consider grace notes instead. That way you can also get rid of the eighth notes and just have whole notes for the measure.

m5-12, m29-32: I don't think piano can hold notes that long. Might wanna just have a keystrike again after every two measures, otherwise you'll just be holding those notes down for nothing. And doesn't the tie begin at m29 instead of m30? For formatting, you may just wanna bite the bullet and have two measures per system like everywhere else in the piece. An optional ending could also potentially pad out that last page if you were worried about that.

Anyway that's all I have for now!

ok did it!

Go to the Stem Direction Tool under Special Tools and uncheck the boxes for these right hand notes, and reset the positioning of the articulations (either by highlighting them and pressing backspace, or deleting and reentering them).

Ok now?

Quote from: Latios212 on December 30, 2021, 10:26:55 AMAh sorry I forgot to actually link the topic! See 2 - Set text box alignment and margins here: https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/index.php?topic=10719.0
This still needs to be fixed for measures 5, 9, and 10.

DID IT!

Quote from: Latios212 on December 22, 2021, 06:47:28 PMThe notes are now moved to the lower staff, but now the top part still has some places that have the stems and staccatos flipped the wrong way. Go to the Stem Direction Tool under Special Tools and uncheck these boxes.

This still. It should look like Radiak suggested originally:

Other things:
- Put the last two rests back at center staff in m. 2 RH since they're shared between the two layers
- m. 9 beat 4 LH should be an E instead of an A
- m. 10 beat 2 LH should be A instead of D
- Lower the arranger text just a tiny bit - it's a little close to the composer text
- Your footer and page 2 header are outside the page margins - see this topic and make sure to set the height to zero

Did it! But I do not understand the last thing, could you help me?

For m11, here's my reasoning for raising the line an octave: I personally can't play it the way you have it written out, a white-to-black tenth is impossible for me to reach without rolling. If it was in a slower context with pedal it wouldn't be an issue, but at 180 BPM and staccato, most people I know would find this prohibitively difficult to play. Plus, in measure 2 you've already raised the middle line an octave from where it is in the original, so why not do it again here?

The first part is transposed to avoid intervals of a thirteenth, not a tenth, the question of speed is related to who plays it, not everyone can agree that this part is too fast and often those who cannot reach a tenth interval do not he stops performing (even excellently) the music of Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt or even a stupid transcription like this. As far as I'm concerned, it is more important to me to transcribe the music for video games as faithfully as possible and not make the music playable for those who are unable to perform it.

However, I edited the song
I'm sorry you can't play it.
