Quote from: Bloop on September 30, 2022, 07:06:28 AMI see that the rests have been added. Make sure to remove Jacopo's name from in the "Arranged by" box in the sheet too, so that it doesn't have different names as the one on site. Aside from that I'll approve!

good morning I think there was a misunderstanding, the score was transcribed by Federico Mariane and me, Jacopo Tore

Quote from: Bloop on October 08, 2022, 03:43:14 AM-I hear the R.H. up an octave throughout the whole song.
-I hear the L.H. in m4 and beat 1-2 of m5 down an octave.
-m1: Usually you don't use a dotted rests larger than the beat value, so in this case the dotted quarter rest should be divided into a quarter rest and an 8th rest.
-m4 and 5: The R.H. 8th note beams in beat 3-4 should be connected similarly to the L.H.
-m8: Since I think most people looking for sheets here are more knowledgeable about English than Italian, it might be best to write "ripetere" as "repeat" instead. You can leave the ad libitum (or shorten it to ad lib.), since that is a better known musical direction.

Sorry I forget to transpose an octave upper the R.H.!
Thank you, I did it

Quote from: Latios212 on September 21, 2022, 07:53:46 AMYes. The problem is that there are too many active submissions with your name on them. If your students submit sheets without you listed as a collaborator, they can continue to do so at a rate of two sheets per arranger.
Ok I think there is no problem, in a few days I will ask everyone (as soon as I see them) to remove the collaboration

Quote from: Latios212 on September 19, 2022, 02:52:26 PMHey Jacopo, we noticed that you have too many submissions with your name on them. You have two accepted submissions that will be posted in the next update, plus four active submissions. The normal submission limit is two, and we will relax this to be four submissions in cases where you collaborate with another arranger. You are above that now.

I understand that you have students who work on their own sheets. However, it is not fair to other arrangers if you have your name on so many of them per update. Your students are free to continue submitting their sheets at a rate of two per arranger per update if your name is not on them and they make updates to the sheets themselves.

After you've had a chance to respond, I will archive this and one of your other most recent submissions (from Dragon Buster). You can submit them next time when you don't already have enough sheets in submissions. Let me know if you have any questions!
Hi Latios I did not understand what the problem is, can my students continue to insert scores but without entering my nickname in the "collaborators" field?

Quote from: LeviR.star on September 15, 2022, 10:04:14 AMThat's what I'm saying; you wouldn't need to, because it's basically the same as the NES one, which you've transcribed.
Ok thank you

Quote from: LeviR.star on September 12, 2022, 02:09:08 PMJust popping into to mention that original arcade version (which was ported to the Famicom in January 1987) has very similar music.

With this similarity in mind, it might be worth arranging this under the [ARCADE] label. It'd be as simple as the updaters making a small tweak in the system, and then the current copyright info would be correct. The Famicom rendition of this track (which was used for reference here) is already close enough that it wouldn't warrant a new draft.
We haven't transcribed the arcade version

Quote from: Libera on August 28, 2022, 10:25:21 AMA few things:

-The title needs to be in quote marks.
-The copyright should be 'Tecmo' not in capitals.
-This can definitely all fit on one page.
-To me, the percussion implies 3/4 (with twice as many bars) rather than 12/8.
-The track is called 'Mysterious Woman' on the official OST.
-The left hand run in bar 4 sounds like triplets Db -> Dn -> Eb i.e. no En.  This also suggests the 3/4 signature to me.

The rest of the changes were made

We've updated the score, but we're not sure we want to change the meter from 12/8 to 3/4, can we talk about it? We would like to understand more.
A thousand thanks

Quote from: Static on August 27, 2022, 03:40:44 PMThis looks good, the only thing I have to say is that the developer (Tecmo) should be added to the copyright, and that "Sammy Japan" should be "Sammy Corporation," the official name of the business. The copyright info should look like this:

Tecmo, Sammy Corporation © 1990

Quote from: Bloop on August 28, 2022, 03:19:15 AM-m2: I hear the L.H. in beats 4-6 as legato instead of staccato.
-m3: It's probably best to add a double barline at the end of this measure, since these first 3 measures are pretty much its own section.
-m4-11: You could consider removing the ties from the Eb and F# in the L.H., so that they will be more present in later measures and so that the major seconds are more audible.
-Maybe you could rise all systems up a bit, as there's a lot of room between the arranger info and the first system, but very little between the copyright info and the last system.

Ok did it, for the ties I prefer to leave, thank you

Quote from: Bloop on August 11, 2022, 09:29:31 AMThe files haven't been updated yet, but leaving the G in the R.H. is fine too ^^
Sorry I update now

Quote from: Static on July 24, 2022, 10:43:17 AMThe intro can be it's own "Boss Defeated Fanfare" sheet, though I don't really mind either way.

- m8 RH beat 4 should be F# instead of A#
- Still missing the Pax Softnica in the copyright. Should be "Nintendo, Pax Softnica © 1990" as Levi said.

Also, if you want, you can remove the natural signs in the key change. You can do this in Document > Document Options > Key Signatures > uncheck "Cancel outgoing key signature".

Quote from: Bloop on August 06, 2022, 04:28:52 AMFor posting youtube links to soundtracks, it's nice to have a timestamp for when the song appears ^^ For future updater, it's at 6:54

Notes are all good! The original seems to be played in octaves, so adding one octave below. The right and left hand can then play the upper and lower octave respectively. If you prefer keeping this as a single line, however, I can give these two small tips:
-m1: Maybe you could add a quarter rest to the R.H. on beat 1 and to the L.H. on beat 2.
-m2: You could move the G to the L.H., since the L.H. is already in that position from the G in m1. The R.H. will need a full bar rest then.
Time stamp doesn't work, I don't know why.
Ok for the rest but I prefer leave the G on the R.H.

Quote from: Bloop on July 15, 2022, 10:59:32 AMSorry for the wait on my response, but looking better already!
-m1-8: All L.H. quarter notes in this section are just as staccato as the ones in m9-10, so I think you can add staccatos to these too. Maybe you can also add a staccato mark to the first dotted 8th note in both R.H. and L.H. in m6 and 8.
-m14: The first half note in the second layer of the R.H. should be an E (I think this was like that before too)
-There's an empty measure on a second page that could just as well be deleted.
