Thanks guys! Went with the title "Marine Pop, Sky Pop!".

I removed the hidden expressions and the fine since it wasn't really necessary either.

Files updated!

Don't have time to make a new replacement this round, so here's the oldest one from my backlog!

Does anyone know what the best title for this track would be?

Wow, good work, this looks super solid overall :P Have you arranged before?

Don't have the time to look super closely right now, but one thing I'll comment on is the accidentals. There are some places where you should spell notes differently due to their function as a neighboring chromatic tone. For example in measure 6, the first Eb should be spelled as D# to lead into the E, and the Bb should be spelled as A# since it leads into the B.

  • Throughout the arrangement, I hear the first eighth note in each beat as being split in two. To be clear, this is what I hear for the RH of measure 7:

Pretty much the same thing throughout the rest of the piece.
Hmm... I definitely hear those as less important echoed notes in the original that I feel shouldn't be included to detract from the main melody.

I'll come and double check the sheet at a later time unless someone else gets to it before me, but I went and updated the NSM template file given in the formatting guidelines. Thanks for the heads up!

No worries. Looks good, approved!

For measures 7-8 I'm hearing the guitar on beat 2.5 LH as playing D instead of C.

That's all! :P

Yeah, sorry if I wasn't clear - I agree with Libera's suggested way of writing the accidentals. One more thing to think about: you could make the argument that it's ascending chromatically, but in addition to what Libera pointed out about the harmonies and the fact you'd need a courtesy accidental on the F# anyway, Gn is just easier to read.

Yeah, that is low. Note how the text is entirely outside the preset page margins. You can easily bump a system down to the next page from pages 1 and 2 to give it more room. (Also backslash at the end of the URL while I'm looking at it)

I'll go update the NSM template sometime soon!

Although there are more requirements than that...

For measures 9 and similar, you need to split up the dotted quarter note in the left hand to a quarter tied to an eighth in order to show beat 3. Also avoid using dotted half rests in measures; use a quarter + half rest instead.

The top voice in m. 65 through end is flipped upwards unnecessarily for the most part.

You can also improve the writing in the parts where you have two layers - right now there's a bunch of overlap and stems facing the wrong way.

There are also some other things you may want to reconsider, like the really long pedal line - you can replace that with a simple "con pedale"/"senza pedale" when needed.

A few parts look like they can be better optimized for two people as well - for example in m. 65 and similar the second layer can be moved to the other piano and Piano 1 could play both the current voices with one hand.

Hopefully this gives you enough to think about/work on for now before we come and check notes.
