NMV, he doesn't have this.  :P

Simply, you listen to the song and input the notes you hear into finale. It will require quite a bit of knowledge of note lengths and ear training. But, finale plays it back to you, making it easier. It is always easier to arrange with a piano next to you to try and figure out the notes. If you need to slow it down, I recommend this. It's browser based, completely safe, and has all the features you need right in front of you. Not to mention that its also free.....
And, as I said earlier, you will need finale to transcribe the note you hear. And, if you have trouble, don't worry. We're here to help!

Feedback / Re: Dynamics and fingering

OK, you're right.
It had some sort of IP crisis, and the entire forum and most of the arrangements were lost. It has existed at this location since 2008

Feedback / Re: Microsoft and Sony brand stuff
December 17, 2014, 08:23:53 AM
Nope. It started out as Nintendo only, but we accept all brands here. It's just that everyone here is either a Nintendo or PC gamer. A few people have Vitas, but that's about it.

You can download Finale Notepad for free here:
http://www.finalemusic.com/products/finale-notepad/resources/
It's an intentionally underpowered application meant to convince you to buy the full product, but it will get the job done for a beginner.
It is a bit unintuitive at first, but you'll get the hang of it after a while. There are other cheaper programs out there, but, if you want to get anything on the site, or get feedback from the people here, you will need finale.
You can use a midi keyboard as an input, unless it's mine, which only freezes my computer.  :P

2008. I haven't even been here for a year, so I don't exactly know that much about its earlier days.

You should know two things about posting requests.
First, you can edit your posts. You can change what the title of the page is in the "Subject" line, thus making it fit the format
Second, you can embed youtube videos with
, easily accessed by clicking on the youtube button in the post reply/edit page.  By putting the link to the video, it will embed itself. NOTE: You NEED to remove the "s" in https, or it will break the link
eg:
Correctly posted:

edit: forgot about the profile pics.
edit edit: looks like you figured it out

Yep. Make sure you provide youtube links, as that's always nice.

Help! / Re: Help Deku Get Some Dates

Quote from: Echo on December 16, 2014, 09:15:55 AMOn the main site, the only names that should be changed are Fire Emblem Awakening (no colon, unless you go by the European title, which I think keeps the colon), and "Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals," which should be changed to "Fire Emblem: Binding Blade."
THis is all that needs to be done with the FIre Emblem games.

Toby, I just haven't liked your judgment from the start. I'm not entirely sure why, but, like mashi said, you seem to be stating unproven things as fact.

Hey, at least NoC will shut up now.........
