Oh wow, yes I remember! I actually became quite curious again about the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise about 2(?) years ago and finally found out all the rules and such after playing an online game on Miniclip. When I picked up this GBA game again, I was so disappointed that it did not follow the original rules and I was so bad at it because of that, lol.
But these songs are so familiar and nostalgic from way back when! If you have any track in particular that no-one else has picked up yet, I could add it to my to-do list. :)

Is this the track you were looking for?

Plus a link to the MIDI file of the song, if anyone needs it: http://www.hamienet.com/midi9769_Boss.html

Attaching video for reference. :)

And here's the link to the MIDI file as well for anyone who would like to work on this track: http://www.hamienet.com/midi9760_Ice-Cave-Chant.html

Hiya, I managed to find a MIDI track of Hakari Mikagami (Goddess of Law) for you: http://www.hamienet.com/midi34724_Hakari-Mikagami%5Cs-Theme.html (Just click on the MIDI link on that page to download the file)
Maybe a better executed Google search will help you find the other MIDI tracks (or someone else might be able to help/have them already). Hope that helps you figure out those notes!

Movies & TV / Re: Anime and Manga suggestions.

I find that plenty of games make out pretty interesting anime series. No wonder I like both of these things so much. ^^

I was looking for some new anime series to watch last month, and stopped on "Lovely Complex". Perhaps my sense of humour is kinda odd, but I found it hilarious, I don't think I've watched such a fun anime in a long time. :D (The Kansai dialect just adds that extra spark!)
Other than that, I also watched a few animated films. I would definitely recommend "Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda", as well as "Bakemono no Ko". Both were really intriguing and made me shed a few tears.

Hi there, great choice of music! :) Just wanted to mention a couple of things that could be tweaked:

• Don't forget the rules of beaming! When music is in 4/4 time, remember that the 4th and 5th eighth notes should not be beamed. Imagine a dividing line going right through the middle of each bar that shouldn't be crossed. Hence, the quarter notes that appear in the left hand in the middle of each bar should instead be two beamed eighth notes. Make sure to do the same for the right hand, I can see a few bars there that could be fixed as well.
• That very last bar is very elongated... perhaps you could move one or two bars down to the last line so that all the bars are more-or-less the same size?
• In m. 10 there's an additional voice that could possibly be added to the right hand?
• Where you have the right hand playing octaves from bar 19 onwards, I can hear that middle voice actually playing different notes from the top melody. It would be awesome to see that middle voice added to your sheet, would make the sheet that much more interesting. :)
• The melody line in m. 24 sounds a bit different to me, I think there are one or two notes missing.
• The right hand in m. 11 (and all other similar runs) might be tricky to play... I can hear the middle voice going up in an arpeggio at the start of that bar, so maybe the middle voice can move up to meet the top voice, that should help make it easier to play.

Let me know if my comments didn't make sense, I can always provide some practical examples if you need help with this sheet. ;)

Off-Topic / Re: The Introduction Thread

Howdy! Sorry to intrude on the (serious?) conversations, but just wanted to come along to say that I'm back from vacation (which was amazing, btw)! Actually, I arrived back home in March but haven't been arranging much until now (tsk tsk!). Thought it was funny how much I've missed seeing everyone's adorable faces and hilarious commentary here. :P

Nothing much is going on in my part of the world atm... I do volunteer work twice a week but am still looking for a job that has something to do with my completed degree. If anyone has any advice on how to find your first graduate position, I'm all ears. ;) Until then, I have plenty of time to surf the web and get my arrangement game back on!  8)

(I've met someone who can only see with one eye, but he said that it doesn't bother him all that much. I guess you can get used to anything eventually, huh?)

Tyvm, yay! I brought cake! :)

*meekly bumps the thread* Hiya, sorry for the rush, but if this can be looked at some time before Thursday, that would be super. I'll be busy packing by then and won't have much time to check in after that either. If I won't be available to update the files, feel free to fix them up yourselves, I won't mind at all. :) Thank you!

Looks much better! :) I wasn't able to get to the piano to try the fingering in the right hand, but I did use the table top :P and added the fingering that I would have used, based on where the hand is positioned and considering the fast tempo. You obviously don't have to use my fingering, I just thought I'd share an alternative and you can have a look at which one seems more comfortable. (I added my numbers in a larger font above the notes, without deleting yours)

I realise I'm not much of an active poster here on NSM, but seeing as I'm planning to return to this place after my trip, I thought I'd post a note here anyway. :)

I'll be overseas from 22 Jan right up until 8 March, during which time I'll most likely not log in here. However, I do hope to get back to arranging more things once I come back home. (Nope, can't get rid of me that easily :P)

Haha, thanks for the suggestion, I'm really liking Tonari no Seki-kun so far. ;D Reminds me of how I'd sometimes have a friend sit next to me in class who would get both of us in trouble.

Erm, I don't have many recommendations at the moment, but I did watch several different anime series in 2015. Sword Art Online II was released in English (which gave me a reason to re-watch the season), I also stumbled upon Code Geass (the ending was incredible), and I also both read and watched Rumiko Takahashi's stories, currently in the middle of reading Kyoukai no Rinne. Yep, that's pretty much my anime list in a nutshell for the previous year. ^^

I seem to have less and less time to play video games these days... Is it because I'm getting older, is that what it is?  :-\

Quote from: Altissimo on January 09, 2016, 06:24:12 PMI FOUND A WAY TO PUT IT IN IT DOESN'T SOUND TERRIFIC BUT IT WORKS OK

^5's! I have no idea how to make it sound neater, but that's a good start!

Quote from: Altissimo on January 09, 2016, 06:24:12 PMWhat I've left out is pretty deliberate... I really don't want to compromise the feel of the trumpet line by messing around with its octave too much but most of the time it's not really playable alongside the melody. Plus, this way the piece retains a pretty consistent singular melody feel, which I like. If others think the extra trumpet lines would enhance it though I'll probably go ahead and see if I can add them in. But I just don't think it's right to mess with the octaves of the melody or countermelody, it screws up the feel D:

Fair point! I just thought if that voice has already been added in one measure, it could be added somewhere else as well. However, it also sounds really good as it is atm.

Quote from: Altissimo on January 09, 2016, 06:24:12 PMI wonder if this huge amount of complexity isn't part of the reason it hasn't been accepted or really looked at yet...

There are a lot of things that need to be double-checked, and with a 5-page-long arrangement such as this one, I'm guessing it would take some time to go through the process. You'll get there, don't worry!
