Quote from: Bubbles7689 on January 20, 2013, 09:33:58 AMI've noticed *looks at slow* that I get alot more pimples whenever I'm stressed. That doesnt happen often, since my main attitude is "I dont care", which actually works wonders :D So I guess if you think that chocolate will give you pimples, and you stress about all the pimples you'll get while you're eating the chocolate, then yeah, you'll get some.
Stress can also contribute to heart disease, among other things.

Quote from: Bubbles7689 on January 20, 2013, 12:38:10 PMI see adaptation as a form of evolution, because once a certain characteristic of an organism changes to fit its environment, wouldn't it have "evolved" into a better fit organism, even if it just grew pointier toes or something?
Adaption, as I see it (for purposes of clarity and differentiating), is for example, direct changes to your environment, which do not change a species (best comparison would be East Sea vs. West Sea Shellos/Gastrodon or Deerling/Sawsbuck, albeit to a lesser extent :P). For example: gaining thicker fur in a colder environment, and shedding the fur when it gets warm; migrating north/south depending on the season; eating one food instead of another.
Humans who move from one area to another, as well, adapt characteristics to their new environment, such as going from a city to a small farm. Or even, as in the last example in the above paragraph, becoming a vegan.

Evolution, however, as I see it, is the complete changing of a species (enough to where it's hard to compare it with its previous "form"). For example: sea animal turning into land animal; land animal gaining the ability to fly small distances; land animal gaining stronger arms and legs; quadruped becoming a full-time biped :P.

I am not here to aruge (or even discuss :P); I'm just here to state something...
And another point to bring up: the evolution would have to happen extremely rapidly in order to be effective, as in the span of only a few generations (generation being one "chain" of offspring, to their offspring, etc.).

Quote from: Waddle Bro on January 20, 2013, 11:22:44 AMI was trying to get him realize that ignoring evolution and all that kind of stuff won't get you far in life. :P
When you take into account the small chance that evolution would produce what we are today, and all the fatal mutations that would occur (and quite possibly wipe out many species, and leave only a small amount of species that are properly suited for their environments), plus the fact that there is no observable evolution in the modern day (peppered moths don't count, because both colors were around before the Industrial Revolution; thus, the species did not actually change at all, aside from [possibly, although there have been some errors found in the experiements] changes in the NUMBER of light or dark colored moths).

Coevolution would be essentially impossible, since, if both species developed at different times, one, that relies on the other, would die out, and it is even more farfetched to believe that the two species would evolve at the same time, as there would be no reason for them to develop a coevolutionary relationship like that, since they might be better to evolve where they are independent of the other species.

Many evolutionists will cite any example possible as a "sign" or "fact" of evolution, whether or not it actually proves their point; likewise, you could say that same thing about some creationists.

Also, for refrence, I (although others may not) consider "adaption" and "evolution" to be two different things, to better distinguish and clarify what I'm saying.

Quote from: The Boy Who Cried Wolf on January 20, 2013, 05:46:31 AMBDS, this is what I mean when you were suspicious when it came to suspicion lists. Everyone was sending there suspicion lists to Mashi, yes. Mashi was green so there was nothing to make you think he wasn't human, yet you wanted to send your list to someone else? Its best just to send them to one person.
Well, there were two main reasons I wanted to send it to two people:
1: If one person was a wolf, and one was not, there would still be one human who had my suspicion list, meaning that, no matter what the wolves might have done, they could not try to use it against me (or, rather, manipulate it).
2: I thought spitllama was a wolf, and if one was a wolf, and the other wasn't, the non-wolf might be able to help me against the wolf. The chances that they were both wolves was small enough that it would be worth taking a risk.

At the time, I wasn't actually suspicious of Mashi, but placing your trust in only one person (and unable to be completely confirmed) is not a smart idea to do, unless it's your plan to do that.
Though, the plan I did have was interrupted by finals and the end of the phase.

Quote from: SuperFireKirby on January 19, 2013, 11:12:57 PMAcne is related to a few things. What you eat/drink, hygiene, and genetics. Don't use soap on your face, instead just wash it with water and get all the excess oil off. Don't eat junk food, lots of fruits and veggies. Skin is often a direct reflection of how healthy your insides are(so is your oral hygiene). Drink plenty of water, keep you nice and hydrated and will help keep your skin healthy. Genetics can't be help so you'll have to deal with that.

I'd avoid acne medication just because that always worsened my acne and it's filled with putrid stuff more time than less.

ANOTHER SFK LESSON IN HEALTH CARE.

GOT NINJA'd. What you eat does affect your skin. I went on a fast food binge for about 2 weeks straight and ended up with a ton of pimples. It's not the grease that does it, it's the unhealthiness of the food and the chemicals in it, generally.

It's not necessarily the fact that the foods are fried or "unhealthy." It probably just depends on what the food is (as in, nutritional value correlation), and how your body digests it; but that might apply to other foods as well, including healthier ones.

EDIT: That does not mean that you should not watch your diet; use common sense people. :P

Quote from: Ruto on January 19, 2013, 10:57:34 PMDrinking water should help, and also avoiding fried food. Soaps sometimes dries out your skin and makes it worse, you kind of have to try a lot of them to see which one works best -.- If you're really desperate, you can try the pill but that's not an option for guys xDDDD

I'm saying saying what my friends say, I never had to worry about this kind of thing.
Drinking water doesn't help, especially if you're not thirsty.
Fried foods, I believe, don't cause acne; that's a myth, if I am correct. Some people just have really oily skin.

For some people, Proactiv helps (including me, for a majority of times).

Koji Kondo: Obvious

Jun'ichi Masuda (Shota Kageyama close, though): So much iconic music.

I almost voted for Jun Ishikawa or Other (David Wise).

And what bridge has stones :P
Nevermind... Bubbles is still a wolf! =O

Quote from: Bubbles7689 on January 19, 2013, 10:22:30 PMOh my glob. It doesnt matter if theyre BOTH wolves. Wolves knew each other, so hitting one would basically hit them all.

Think of it like a game of Minesweeper, if you hit one bomb you explode and game over. If you choose one square (ignoring the numbered blocks that give you hints) you'll have less of a chance of hitting a bomb than if you pick 2 squares

And you werent a step ahead of me because you had no reason to believe Mashi a wolf :P
You're not getting what I'm trying to say: as long as one of them wasn't a wolf, it wouldn't matter. If 1/1 is a wolf, that's 100%; if 1/2 are wolves, at least you have an "honest person" to help detect any fishy-stuff. :P

It's not like Minesweeper; I'd more compare it to crossing a bridge with loose stones (or something like The Last Crusade). If you step on one stone that's safe, and one that's not, at least you can keep your balance.

If I had sent the list earlier, and gone through with what I had said, my point would be carried out further, from an "unknowing-perspective," either spitllama or Mashi could have been a wolf, but not likely both (especially because spitllama seered green, after the fact).

Quote from: Bubbles7689 on January 19, 2013, 10:14:40 PMBut thats my point. I already knew a wolf would get the pm, so I acted human to 'help' you not accidentally send it to a wolf.

And I dont see how at all I seemed to be trying to get information?
But I was one step ahead of you, then. :P
I knew that trusting any one player wasn't a smart idea: my point was that, if I sent it in to two people, the chance that they were BOTH wolves wasn't likely.

The concern didn't seem natural...

There are just some people who aren't really as "affected" by acne as others; I've heard that severity can vary from person to person.

Quote from: Bubbles7689 on January 19, 2013, 10:06:36 PMI made myself more suspicious? @_@ You still dont understand do you? I was attempting to prevent you from having a bigger chance of sending your list to a wolf. Since I knew Mashi would get it anyway, I decided it was safe to argue my point that it would be too risky
But in the end, I was right, although very indirectly (and wouldn't give myself credit for it, because it was merely a theory meant to prove a point, and not an actual accusation): Mashi was a wolf, so that would guarantee a 100% chance that a wolf would get it, rather than a 50% (or less) chance that two wolves would get it.
The way you went about it made it seem like you were trying to gather data about who would be the best wolfing choice (I think I pointed that out?); although I never got a chance to send my list in (finals...), it most likely could have given me (or spitllama, if I had been wolfed) more information.
