Quote from: Clanker37 on January 22, 2013, 07:16:03 AMFEARons are so cheap. Seriously, if I see an Aron on someones team I forfeit straight away. Not even going to waste my time.
Better to fight and have a chance of winning... :P Will-o-Wisp is a good move to have sometimes...

Quote from: JDMEK5 on January 22, 2013, 11:05:55 AMI was against this one random guy on Pokémon Online and he basically took me out completely with his Darkrai.

It was probably holding a quick claw.
He put me to sleep right away with some move like hypnosis.
I was constantly getting hurt because of his ability.
I was stuck getting hurt and sleeping while he used double team about 800 times.
So when I finally woke up, he just put me to sleep again and used dream eater till I died.
(And even if his sleeping move were to miss, I wouldn't be able to hit him anyways because of his huge evasiveness)
Repeat with the rest of my team.
Vital Spirit, Lum Berry, or a faster counter... :P

Cresselia uses Skill Swap with Heatran and Heatran uses Lava Plume.

You're welcome.
Drain Punch... :P

If you're talking about Regigigas, Drain Punch would give it a great chance to heal itself, if needed.

I have a sadistic idea for doubles:
Entry:
Mismagius and Azumarill with Huge Power.

Azumarill uses Protect; Mismagius uses Skill Swap to swap abilities.
Mismagius heals/defends itself until Azumarill faints; Regigigas is sent out, and Mismagius Skill Swaps Huge Power to it.

If all goes well, Regigigas gets to smash everything apart. :P

Quote from: Jub3r7 on January 21, 2013, 06:41:05 PMThe objective of this game is to come up with story ideas. Maybe when you have no idea what to write, you can take a visit to this thread for some ideas?
I've got a good one, and idea for a Doom-Majora's Mask hybrid-esque game:

In the year 3026, the planet Earth has been invaded by demons; the environment has been almost entirely destroyed by the invasion, and futile attempts to fight back have left the human race nearly wiped out.
One man, once nothing more than a commoner, has made a deal with a rogue demon master: he is granted seven days of nearly limitless power, but at the end of that time period, his soul belongs to the demon.

The whole game consists of seven days, each equivalent to two hours real time (one hour for day, one hour for night). Every day, you master your powers more and more, which can be enhanced by weapons you pick up; if you die, your power and weapons reset.
During the daytime, you must go into the catacombs to fight the nocturnal demons.
During the night, you must roam around the overworld and fight the demons.
After killing a certain number of demons and locating clues as to the portal's location, you must find three portal-keys. After this goal has been accomplished, you must travel to and through the portal, and close the source.

(in the bad ending, the demon master takes somewhat-pity on the Earth and destroys it completely :P)

So instead, I'll say this:

Score: 10 reds/3 yellows.
Instant classic.

I haven't played any Final Fantasy after X, and even that, I've never completely finished. D:

Last night, I had a Brawl NPC (all NPCs set at 8, no handicaps) Team battle:
Red Team: Ike (me) and Kirby (NPC)
Blue Team: Olimar (NPC) and Snake (NPC)

Stage: 75m

Kirby hit Olimar with the hammer, and Snake dropped down a ladder; since the timing was perfect, I used Ike's up-move (I don't know whether it was the tilt or smash...) several times, until I launched them up into the springs (that are part of the stage) that come down sometimes; Kirby finished them, exit stage right, with his hammer attack.

Quote from: Zunawe on January 21, 2013, 10:48:46 AMThe thing is that they provide sources 99% of the time. If I can't use Wikipedia I just cite their sources.
Yep; that's something we've been doing a lot recently as well...

Forget national archives. Everything anybody could ever need to know and more is on Wikipedia.
Yep; although some people don't like to claim Wikipedia as a valid source (because it's "so easy to vandalise and article and etc."), they keep it well maintained. Many teachers ban its use for essay research because it's "too easy to find information" as well as the other reason. :P

Quote from: SuperFireKirby on January 21, 2013, 10:18:56 AMThe best part is, the longer you're on a forum the more your average posts per day drops, generally. And though Slow has been here, like, 5 or 6 times longer(probably way longer, though) than you he still has a higher average post count.

So don't feel bad. At least your not as bad as Slow. Not even close. RIGHT SLOW?
It just depends on what you have to reply to... like this, for example... or how active you are.
