You should do them in order Mashi, as listed in the first post. Obviously. :P

Quote from: the_last_sheikah on February 23, 2013, 08:36:37 AMOk, we have three spots left.  I know more than enough people voted in the poll, so everyone, try to recruit people so we can get started.
Some possible victims options:
-Jub
-Maestro
-davy
-Spitllama
-Winter
-FSM
-Liggy
-Bird
Hmmm... these all seem like good options... Bird might be good to drag in recruit, and maybe FSM and/or Winter, if they are willing??

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mold_Breaker

As far as I can understand, it does exactly what you're describing.
Mold Breaker only stops certain abilities, such as Volt Absorb, Heatproof, and other abilities that hinder moves used by the Mold Breaker user.
My idea gets rid of ALL abilities and cancels out their effect (unless, for example, the weather has been previously placed before the Pokemon is sent out) regardless of whether it affects the Pokemon with the ability or not.

Quote from: Bubbles7689 on February 22, 2013, 01:49:46 PMSo that girl I was complaining about earlier just turn a major turn for the worse. She threw a fit when she heard some girl complaining about her, and that girl happened to be in our group project group. So now she decided that she wasn't going to do her share of the project because she didn't want the other girl to "get a good grade for [her] good work". She dissapeared and apparently went in the bathroom and cut herself? I'm trying to feel bad but shes just overreacting and blowing EVERYTHING out of proportion so much that its really hard. Come on, finish the fucking project and stop being a baby.

But I guess something worked out since everyone hates her now and I'm not the only one :P
Finish your parts of the project and tell the teacher. Hopefully, if your teacher is nice, he/she (???) will:

Hmmm, well...

Relating to the topic of books we like/dislike, am I the only one who really strongly dislikes Robinson Crusoe? Maybe I should read it again (considering that I never finished because I felt it was such a boring book...), but I almost dread the thought.

EDIT: The reason being:
From the full title (:P), you can understand one of the reasons why I feel it is boring: many of the sentences in the book drag on and on and on, even more than I am now, and usually do with my sentences when I put a lot of thought into them; they're completely frivolous and rarely do much other than provide extreme descriptions of things that only foward the plot a very small amount, if even in such miniscule ways.
For reference, I read until around the part where Cruesoe rescues Friday, before I could bear no more.

Full Title
(The Life and Strange Surprizing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, of York, Mariner: Who lived Eight and Twenty Years, all alone in an un-inhabited Island on the Coast of America, near the Mouth of the Great River of Oroonoque; Having been cast on Shore by Shipwreck, wherein all the Men perished but himself. With An Account how he was at last as strangely deliver'd by Pirates.)

That's my favorite book. Nobody else likes it though :(
...I haven't read it yet, but my older brother seems to strongly dislike it. He says that Holden Caulfield is a very unsympathetic character (saying something to the effect of that he almost 'tries' to be bad, if I am not mistaken??), and (I quote): "People tend to overanalyze it [the book], along other books. There's a point when reading between the lines leads to absolute nonsense."
As I said, I have not read the book yet, so I shall wait to pass judgement myself.

Another way he summarizes Holden is this:

Quote from: Zunawe on February 22, 2013, 09:00:48 PM1984 is my favorite. We have everything. I also really liked Of Mice and Men.
I haven't read Nineteen Eighty-Four yet, but I've read Of Mice and Men about twice now, and it is good (additionally, containing important messages for society, then and now).

Animal Farm is another good book by George Orwell, and I've read it a few times as well.

When they need more money, they'll take them out. :P They always do. :P

That book was beautifully written, timeless classic.
I think we can all agree on that?

I was going to put another book there, in place of TKaM (and call it unbearable), but I think it might insult some people, which is something we all (hopefully) want to avoid.

I suddenly have an idea for an ability (Smogon format, just because :P).

Spoiler
Crasher
Description
Cancels out all abilities of Pokemon currently on the field (minus Crasher itself, for fear of a paradox); maintains effect until affected Pokemon switch out.
Effects already "finalized" by abilities (such as weather or stat boosts brought on by abilities) are not cancelled, however.

Competitive Use
In singles, this ability could be used to negate the ability of Pokemon such as Politoed, Breloom, Gliscor, and Shedinja, as well as other abilities such as Prankster and Moxie; the uses are nearly endless.
In Ubers, this ability could be used to prevent weather before it occurs, or in some cases, prevent Rayquaza from negating its effects, etc.
In doubles, however, its effect is not limited to merely opposing Pokemon: it can be used on Pokemon such as Slaking and Regigigas in order to provide their full bulk and power, un-hindered by their abilities, while still crippling an unprepared opponent. A sudden switch-in can cause the opponent to damage themselves (such as when Politoed uses Surf while Gastrodon is out).

Found Normally
Symbolen - Dark/Psychic

Found in Dream World
Unown - Psychic

It seems like something that could easily be banned within a short time... :P Yet, the potential!!
