I'm probably going to end up being a Snivy MC with either Axew or Oshawott as a partner. I'm a bit disappointed by the distribution of the Gens, though (I haven't seen many non-Gen 5 pokemon, which means that I probably won't get my Drapion partner).

40 minutes of demo!

It's beautiful :D

And oh man, that music. And the sound effects/fanfares are the same too!

Quote from: SlowPokemon on November 06, 2012, 03:57:50 AMIf you're talking about assassin's creed, I've never played one so idk about that. If you're talking about animal crossing, I'd definitely consider that once it comes out.
Ah, sorry. I just sorta assumed that you did :P
Yeah, I meant Assassin's Creed. Although feel free to do Animal Crossing once it has come out (I myself haven't played it, but I might be interested in the soundtrack).

You taking requests, Slow?
If you have the time, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the new AC3 soundtrack. I haven't been able to take a look at it myself, but I do know that it has a new(ish) composer and I'm wondering how that turned out.

Quote from: fingerz on October 30, 2012, 01:54:09 PMJust read that this game is currently going to be only released in Japan. Due to the failed success of the Wii ones, localisation is unlikely unless the game sells extremely well in Japan. XDDDDDDDDD

Do you have the source of that?

EDIT: The official site also added plenty of new pictures and information. Again, the environments looks absolutely gorgeous.

Quote from: MoboMoga on October 20, 2012, 03:12:28 PMFirst off: Hi! Welcome back!

Ok, now, apparently your embedding isn't working.
Anyways I might take it. I was thinking whether I should do it....but I can't transribe the numbers, so, yea.  ;D ;D

Heya, Mobo!

Yeah, I was trying to post from my phone. I guess I copy-pasted the mobile site instead. Oh well, all fixed now!

That's great if you have the time ;D Thank you!

(I've listened to it a couple more times, thought about it, and I'm now also tempted to try it, although I probably won't end up finishing).

Hello all!

I'm very interested in getting a solo arrangement for Akuroma's battle theme, considering its one of my favorites of all time :) So here it is!

Thank you all!

Quote from: Bubbles7689 on October 16, 2012, 05:15:54 PMThats why were waiting for it (itll be exciting if it actually is accurate :D). Do you think once its released in Japan (or earlier) we'll know how it works, or will we have to wait until its released for us?

Once it's released in Japan, we'll probably know.
And it better get a worldwide release!

Ah, really? I find that they are both equal - the almost sad tone of OpelucidW is beautiful, and the more upbeat tune of OpelucidB is quite fun. But still, I didn't really like the aesthetics of OB. It was too out-of-place.

Bubbles - Yes, Opelucid's music is the same in BW2 as in BW (with exception of one point of time in BW2).

I found Iris to be very easy this time (Colress was much more difficult, partly because I had no Fighting, Ground, or Fire attacks). Then again, Leech Seed + Burn + Power Split may have had something to do with it.

I (not-so) secretly harbour a vain hope that Colress will reappear in the later games.

Quote from: spitllama on October 16, 2012, 12:22:34 PMDidn't get much of a response on this before so I'll reword it: which version did you buy and why? Was that decision based upon which version of B/W you have?

Really can't decide which to buy right now.

I bought White originally, because I a) liked the exclusives much better (Zekrom, Braviary, Reuniclus, etc.), and b) I enjoy the rustic, natural feeling compared to the futuristic Black.
I got White 2, mainly because of the same reasons (with exception of Reshiram, but hey, that's what trading's for!)
In the end, it really doesn't matter which one you get - just pick the one with the version exclusives and the feel you like the most. Also, playing one game or the other doesn't really matter (only thing is that N would have just gotten the legendary you caught back in BW). Of course, Challenge and Assist Key are exclusive, but it doesn't really matter as you would only be able to play with Challenge Key from the beginning if you had a friend with B2.

Anyway, I was incredibly impressed with BW2. I think I enjoyed it far more than BW (with exception of the odd-paced plot and the lower difficulty). All the cities and towns have changed in one way or another for the better, and the new places are great (and the new music is heavenly). And the characters (in particular, Colress) are amazing.

Quoteafter the second gym, you're back in the same old unova region, with largely the same Pokemon in each area
Just as a side note, while there is Nimbassa, Driftveil (with Poke Tournament), Castelia, and Mistralton, the right side of Unova (pre-E4, at least) is all new or majorly updated. Humilau City, Rebirth Mountain (and surrounding areas), Lentimas Town, new routes and caves, and completely revamped Victory Road. Even then, you get access to areas such as Clay's Tunnel post-E4 (granted, I haven't played much of post-game. Iccirus city seemed to be the same, and I haven't seem anything below Castelia yet).

QuoteAlso, I completed the Unova Pokedex in BW, and don't feel like doing it again.
But... but... you get a badge! :P
Some of them are ridiculous, though. Completely fill your boxes? Meet 1000 people in Join Avenue? Ak.

Wow, that's fantastic. I didn't know how it compared - it's looking up to be a great game c:

This game is looking fantastic so far! Although I'm a bit apprehensive of all of the story-important legendaries/pseudo-legendaries in it (Kyurem, Keldeo, Lugia, Ho-oh, presumably Vizirion and perhaps the other two muskedeers, Hydreigon, possibly Victini).

Also, it says that the game will be around 1 GB. I'm not entirely sure how that compares to the others, or even how important it is at all.

Request / Re: [NDS] Pokemon Black/White - "Gate"
October 05, 2012, 06:34:04 PM
EDIT: Sorry, Shadowninja, just saw your note about making new treads D: I'll make sure to make one for my next request, if that's alright.

Good news! I've been arranging lots and lots (and lots!)! (including some PMD music, like "I Saw Something Again...")

Bad news! I haven't actually finished anything yet! :P

I also have a quick question for all you arrangers out there - how does one decide on a key signature for a particular song? So far, I've
been resorting to arranging the piece as much as I can, and seeing which sharps/flats appear the most. Is this the best way of doing it?

I also seem to have a lot of trouble finding the starting notes. I guess that'll come with practice, though, so nothing to do but to keep on arranging!

And I guess the next pieces I'm looking at arranging would be Frosty Grotto and maybe one/both of the Brine Caves!

To keep this related to requests, I would like to request Ancient/Relic Castle:

Although I don't know if it's really possible to do so without a duet (duets are fine, though! ;D)

Quote from: Bubbles7689 on October 04, 2012, 01:59:01 PMOne of my favorite things about these games (besides the games themselves, duh) was how adorable the Pokemon look wearing bandanas around their necks :3

EDIT: Wait, I just converted the price to dollars. Is it really that expensive? $60 seems a bit much (Im still going to get it)

If I recall correctly, Pokemon BW2 was also 60$ when converted to cad/usd, but the actual price here only turned out to be 30$-40$. So I doubt it'll be that expensive.
