I like this. This is a nice sheet.

One thing though: For the last measure, could you possibly include that lower B in the flute melody (beat 3)? It's a little more pronounced than the xylophone.

Well actually these last two were made in FL Studio's demo. Sure I can't really open the files anymore but they sound much better than if I made them on other software (I think, anyway). Before then I'd use LMMS, but the problem was that I relied way too much on the garbage reverb options that made everything sound weird at different volumes. I could probably go back to it using the mixing methods I've been using more recently, but there's other reasons I don't want to go back.
in all honesty i should probably just pirate FL Studio because its price is ridiculous anyway

Also when it comes to "writing music" in a more literal sense, some of the parts are composed on MuseScore first.

Well regardless of which one's better between the two, they're still miles below IV and V's soundtrack.

Oh, it's been a while, but I still really enjoy your compositions! I don't have any nice critiques for you, but I think it'd be so cool to hear these in a game.
Oh thank you! Sorry I was late to reply.

Guess I was waiting for another composition but I accidentally waited too long.

Well I have another one here, except this time it's a miscellaneous one:

Original Compositions:
 - Beach Theme: WAV

I tried to make a very beach-like song. I think it works.

EDIT: I had to fix it because I managed to miss the fact that the bass wasn't synced at the last part.

Oops.

I thought about it, and decided that only the first four counted for anything, so it's just out of 4 (not that it really affects anything anyway lol).

Actual Quiz:

#1
Title Screen - Pokemon Pinball:

This was better than I expected, and that's the only reason I picked it (besides its obscurity obviously).

[close]

#2
Minigame - Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland:

Good thing no one got this one. That would only say so much about them. Not that this was released in the US anyway.

[close]

#3
Title Screen (Part 2) - Kirby's Star Stacker:

I have a feeling Levi would've gotten this one if he participated. Oh well.

[close]

#4
Heeeere's Waluigi! - Mario Party 3:

Lol. This is pretty self-indulgent too.

[close]

Self Indulgence:

Bonus #1
Through The Air (Theme of Quick Man) - Mega Man Battle & Chase:

Probably the most notable song from this game, but obviously still ridiculously obscure. This wasn't released in the US either.

[close]

Bonus #2
Remix 8 - Rhythm Tengoku:

It's so repetitive lol. At least it's catchy. Too bad it's Japan-only.

[close]

Bonus #3
Catastrophe in Bhava-Agra ~ Wonderful Heaven (CD Arr.) - Touhou 10.5: Scarlet Weather Rhapsody:

I dunno I just like this arrangement. Like other Touhou stuff, it's Japan-only.

[close]

idk

this doesn't count but if someone gets it i'll laugh
Our Love is Stronger than a Golden Banana - Donkey Kong Country:

"I see bananas when I look in your eyes..."

[close]

idk whatever's left
Congrats to Latios212 for being the only person with a point, landing him a score of 1/4. Obviously he got the Pokemon Pinball one. Noice.
[close]

Now go do MSF's quiz and don't pester me.

lol for #4 i guessed Starlight Zone but it was wrong tempo and there was probably another note in the empty space or something idk

at the same time MSF got #10 with "Gensokyo Millenium" even though it's in the wrong key, tempo and (possibly) time sig so idk

I actually can't connect to my printer but I did see the preview image before "printing" and yes, I did see the cut off. Still trying to think of a work-around.

oops

QUIZ 9.5

I forgot to finish my tenth one, so I'm throwing this out instead. Trust me, this thing is nasty. I picked out some pretty obscure stuff just because there's so few of them and I felt like doing it (because y'know, I haven't really done it before).

The first page consists of one of each of the big four (Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Kirby), while the second page consists of self-indulgent miscellaneous series, and a joke one not worth any points. Whether or not the self-indulgent ones should be included in the total will be considered as it goes along. Also I might post hints later on, not that they'll be too useful.

Take note: I'm not sorry.
