[NES] Final Fantasy - "Battle Theme" ZIP

Deku: Mmmm reckon you could include the arpeggio at the start (or probably a simplified version)?
I think there could be more done to spice this up. Nothing flash, just more of what's in the original.

[SNES] F-Zero - "Big Blue" ZIP

Deku: Some of the melody notes sound off.
The opening could maybe be voiced differently to better imitate the original.
The bass line could be beefed up and fixed up (notes in bar 20 need looking at).

Musicman: I'll look at the melody and bass line, but I can't think of how to change the opening. Any suggestions specifically?

I know Big Blue's on the site already, but, in my opinion, it's poorly written and unreadable. So I'm posting this one up to replace it, possibly.

Deku: Have you considered making a arrangement thread?

Musicman: I'm new here and don't really know the structure of the site, so I didn't know anything. If you think I should, I can make one, but I'm not sure where or what to say in it...

Deku: Pretty much every arranger has their own arrangement thread in the Submissions board. It's where they post their arrangements to get feedback/help from other members before submitting them to the site.

Musicman: I'll do that; thanks for the information.

Story time!!!!

if any of you know about the Super Smash Flash 2 project over at mcleodgaming.com, you will know that, some time ago, they were looking for more developers. I signed up to do some of the music. I got a callback (as it were - over skype) and I started arranging some stuff. The third piece I tried to arrange (stupidly) was this one. I had so many wrong notes; it was just so complicated! And the bass line was so busy! It wasn't working at all...

I actually got booted off the music team there because I couldn't make the style of music they needed. Mainly, I sucked at percussion xD

[EDIT - forgot something] Later, almost immediately after, I attempted making a jazz band arrangement for the same song. Aaaaand I still had wrong notes. This song is nigh impossible to get down, but if someone could, I would be eternally grateful!

[RE-EDIT] OH! I did find this for anyone who wants some help on notes and rhythms! It even has a bass line!
link

[EDIT (again)] Just to clarify, you probably shouldn't use the harmonies or the entire bass line. The right hand's busy enough with just the melody (plus, the harmony's moving fifths, which sounds terrible.), and the left hand doesn't need to be troubled with that bass line.

Do this however, you want, though, of course. I'm not trying to condemn you to my way.

Violin and vocals? I'm jealous. Actually, I'm jealous of any vocalist, bow player, and/or flute player. It frustrates me that I can't play those.

Would having a Macbook make a difference? Because I'm still very confused.

[EDIT] I think I got it... Thanks!

Bari sounds pretty awesome when it's played well, especially in the low register. Although, I must admit that the tenor has a pretty nice sound, too.

Bari's definitely my main. I'm best at it, I can tune great on most every note, and it fits best in general.

I prefer classical songs, but I like to play those on clarinet. When I'm on saxophone, I usually play more jazz i.e. Cantina Band from Star Wars.

Can someone tell me how to use dropboxes to get my stuff onto this site? I've never used dropboxes before and I'm confused...
