Playing Dragon Quest IX, having fun, forgot why I never beat it.  Then I got to Coffinwell and it alllllll came back to me.  This game is rather emotionally taxing for me.

So after watching all of Dragon Ball Z abridged, I was reminded of Dragon Quest IX for some reason.  Turns out Akira Toriyama did the character art for it too, so I decided I'll give it another go. I think this is my, like, 6th attempt at this game, it's great, but damn is it hard.

Won't stop your train, but I'll gladly ride this one into the sunset. 

I was wondering what was up with the comment boxes, thought my computer was tweaking out.

Well this weekend kinda sucked, two days off work, nothing to do, and wouldn't it figure? the disk drive on my xbox one died.  Now if it hasn't magically fixed itself from not playing it all weekend, I'll be out $100 to get it fixed.  At least I had Splatoon, thank you based Nintendo.

Splatoon's a lot of fun, hope it can keep the momentum though.

I got the Splatoon boy and girl from gamestop when I picked up the game.  Last ones at the store too.

So Splatoon is pretty fun, gamepad control is a little wonky, but I think you should be able to use a pro controller instead.  Definitely going to pre-order it.
