Quote from: Sekter77 on April 19, 2011, 10:21:22 AMBefore believing that you have been unfairly singled out, please try to understand that this site has gone through a lot of changes, many of which are fairly recent.
Perhaps not just me, but on the last 2-3 topics for submissions that I've been a member here for, I've seen the posts get edited by someone to say 'good job, accepted' or 'hey there's something wrong with it, resubmit it after you correct it'. Never did I see nothing said at all when changes needed to be made, because they were made already by someone else. Or perhaps it's always done like that and I was wrong to assume otherwise?

meh. If its help then tell me to do it and I'll change it myself. Shouldn't say something like "good job your submission has been accepted" and then make changes behind my back. I only got mad cause there was nothing wrong with mine, but there are some clear things missing or wrong about many, many submissions on the site (even keeping it to Twilight Princess, this one has no metronome or tempo mark, this one has no tempo mark and is improperly titled...  in fact, going down the list alphabetically for Twilight Princess, mine was the first submission to have everything it was supposed to) and no fixes were made for them before posting them. Go fix those up if you're bored.

And I didn't know sheets I submitted would be subject to some unilateral, not discussed changes. Like changing the word in my direction near the metronome mark from "mystery" to "mysterious" for no reason ("with mysterious" makes no sense by the way), like shrinking and scrunching up the sheets to fit into less pages for no reason and ruining the even spacing I gave it. No wonder the update took 5 years to post.  Why have guidelines if you're just gonna make changes whenever you feel like it anyway?

Yeah, not gonna be submitting any sheets here anymore.

No... This track wasn't done yet for [only 3 were, games came out 12 days ago]

EDIT: Just realized that this track was in pokemon diamond, pearl, and platinum too. The only difference I could hear from one listen is that the first measure starts off a little slower (q=150?) and then hits full tempo about 2 or 3 seconds into it.

For some reason I thought you only extended slurs to the last tied note if it went into another measure. *shrug* Updated and reupped everything to that folder.

Quote from: Sekter77 on February 28, 2011, 10:01:59 AMGusty Garden does sound good and I'm really interested to see what the rest of your arrangements will sound like (especially Zelda. Twilight Princess had some great songs.) Just be sure to keep in mind the Formatting Guidelines before you post your arrangements in the Submissions Thread. Gusty Garden doesn't need a whole lot of changes, but there's just some things in the headings and details that add consistency to the sheets here.
I assume you were referring to the header on the sheets in the youtube video. I made that the day before I registered here, so I didn't have it in 'NSM format', but the sheets I linked to in my first post are.

Quote from: DekuTrombonist on March 01, 2011, 02:58:19 AMHmmm, yes and no. In places like measure 68, it makes no sense to use E double flat when the chord is clearly Bb Major. Accidentals aren't just to do with the key signature, they are also based on the 'chord of the bar (or beat)' so to speak.
Good point. I've edited some of the accidentals and re-uploaded everything to mediafire in my first post.

And thanks for the welcomes.

Double flats are better in most cases when in keys with a lot of flats like Db major. They preserve the visual of the up and down of the notes on the staff better, where naturals would visually make it seem like there are jumps even when just ascending or descending on a scale, or that notes that are more than a semitone apart when they're not . It's just a stylistic choice.

And I'll use mediafire from now on, wasn't aware they didn't have a wait time.
