This is a new game that Andy came up with. Hey, I'm ThatHiddenCharacter and I will be hosting this new game. E. Gadd knows of this and is complete agreement with it. Here's how it works: I will put a definition from the previous day's word in E. Gadd's Word of the Day, then people come up with funny words that could be defined by the definition. Then I decide which word is funniest. I am going to be randomly selecting funny definitions, the only thing that is consistent about them is that they are from the previous day's word. Now to get started! Unless I forgot any important points.

Help! / Measure spacing in Finale
« on: March 19, 2017, 04:38:23 PM »
I just finished adding a few fixes to an arrangement, but for some reason the measures are too close together in Finale and I can't figure out how to fix it. Does anyone know how?

Help! / Finale Problems
« on: February 20, 2017, 05:47:44 PM »
So, I've been having some problems with finale lately. For some reason playback hasn't been working right, but luckily I arrange songs in musescore, so that's not too much of a problem. The real problem I'm having is one-measure systems. I've searched in every single spot on finale and I can't find a way to fix it. I have finale notepad 2012, which I know is an older version that doesn't have all the features of finale, but I'm pretty sure it should still have a way to fix one-measure systems. Does anyone know if that can be fixed in my version of finale? And if it can't, can someone who has the full version of finale help me out?

Forum Games / Guess the Song (Based on the Lyrics)
« on: February 20, 2017, 01:01:25 AM »
This is a game that I've been thinking about starting recently. Here's how it works: I will post a section of lyrics from a song everyday (unless for some reason I'm unable to access the website) and people, i.e. you the reader, can guess the song based on the lyrics. Everyone who guesses correctly will be acknowledged and be given an imaginary food item determined by me depending on my mood and what I'm hungry for. So now we start.

I guess I probably took the wrong direction.
Well, I admit I might have missed a sign or two.
I ran a light past your affection
At Humiliation Avenue.
Took a right turn at confusion.
A left when I shoulda gone straight on through.
I ran ahead with my assumptions.
And we all know what that can do.

Help! / Images

How do I put images in a spoilers box? I see people do it all the time, but I can't figure it out.

Help! / Links
« on: January 23, 2017, 02:14:45 AM »
How do I make links look like this: [MID]
I see people do it and it would make some of my posts smaller because when I put links, it's the full link. Thanks to anyone who helps.

As the name implies, you can find my non-piano arrangements here. For now, all I have is the Yoshi's Island World Map Medley, but I will add more when I get to arranging more. I will give a midi and mp3 file for every song, but the mp3 sounds way better. If you would like a mus file, just ask and I'll make one, but I'm not going through the trouble if no one is going to use it.

Request / [NDS] Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - "Boss Battle"
« on: December 30, 2016, 01:53:50 AM »
I've been waiting for this song to be on the site since I started getting sheet music from here. It's a bit too fast paced for me to figure it out myself, so I'd be extremely grateful if someone arranged this.

Home-Made Compositions / ThatHiddenCharacter's Compositions
« on: December 26, 2016, 10:22:15 PM »
Here I will be putting my compositions. There will be a midi and an mp3 for each song. I'll only put the songs I made that are actually good, starting with these. Also, I will be putting up instrumental versions, unless the song is supposed to be piano. If anyone wants a piano version of a song, just ask. Three out of these four songs are for a game my cousin and I are coming up with ideas for. It's called After.

Help! / Links to files in posts
« on: December 26, 2016, 04:59:44 PM »
I just arranged a song that I want to submit to the website, but I want to post it in the arrangement criticism section. I can't figure out how to put the files in the post. Can anyone help?

I just recently found out that I love this song and there's still no paper mario:sticker star songs on the site. I was hoping someone might try to get this one done.
