Title: A.C.3 Productions: Video Game Remixes
Post by: AC3TheAnimator on January 27, 2017, 10:13:45 AM
Hello everybody! I've recently started putting remixes of video game music up on my YouTube channel, and I figured this would be a good place to share them!
I've got three up so far. Two of them actually use sheet music from this site (I gave credit in the description, of course). Here they are:

Route 216 (Day and Night)
It was supposed to fade out at the end but it's too late for that I suppose

And the newest one, Super Mario 64's Staff Roll:

The one I made by ear was Gladion's Battle theme:

I hope you guys enjoy them! I'll update this thread whenever I upload.

I didn't plan for this at the time, but I actually have another song out today! Here's K.K. Cruisin' from Animal Crossing!

So I see a re-orchestration of one of my things here, aaand I have to comment on it haha <3

Mm, I usually don't really get into reorchestrations of things, but yours were a pleasant surprise! ^^ I've, um, heard much less thoughtful bastardisations of my Route 216 arrangement out there ahaha </3

In all honesty though, thank you for putting in more thought and effort into your work than those people that just rip the MIDI off and change sounds. You've got the ambience, the blend of sounds, and the one thing I really enjoyed was the melody instrument you used for the opening section. ^^ I think the synth could have been used a liiiittle better, but if you're toying with tracks for fun and just starting out then you've put in a brilliant effort. As a side note, really cool VFX haha xD

As with the people in the comments, I really enjoyed that little transition to the night theme, though it was a little abrupt haha. It came as a pleasant surprise for sure! ^^

I'll be reposting this comment to your video and subbing hehe, hope to see more stuff and to see you keep trying out new sounds! :)

p.s. if the title was based off "wet hands" from minecraft i will officially call you awesome

Unfortunately, no! Sorry, haha. The title is actually based on how I recently got gloves for Christmas (before this year I didn't really live in a place where I needed them). I actually lost them, so I was thinking about how my walks home from school after that really made me appreciate the few weeks I had with those "warm gloves", haha.

Here's another one! I remixed a Shovel Knight song, which was, to say the least, an interesting experience.
