It's come to my attention that this forum has never been given a FNAF topic. I feel like this is the topic this forum needs so that fans of the game can have a place to talk about stuff like: the upcoming movie, the books, the games, and if they wanted to...even the merchandise. If anyone has an interesting theory for the games lore, feel free to share it! It's always nice to see someone's ideas about the lore.

I've played FNaF 1 and 2. My understanding is that FNaF World was taken off of steam or I would buy it. I'll probably buy it when Scott releases the revision.

Yeah. Scott said he felt like he rushed the game too much. He's making the Overworld screen 3-D, not 8-bit. He's also going to release it for free on gamejolt

Apparently FNAF world got removed from steam due to an influx of negative reviews.
I might have bought it, but the weird atari overworld really turned me away from it.
That was a few weeks back now. It's now available for free to download iirc, just not on steam.

Scott changed the overworld to a 3-D Environment in the new release. So your problem should have been fixed.

I can't wait for the Update To FNAF World! In it, Scott's adding some new characters, such as the halloween FNAF 4 characters!!! He's also adding the coffee machine from "The Desolate Hope" and Chipper from "Chipper and Son's Lumber Co." (Both were characters from games he created...) as well!

Oh don't worry, it will die soon enough. It's just a fad, like how the slenderman games (and their infinite clones) were.
But you have to admit, it left a mark in the gaming community. I can't wait to see what Scott creates next. He's defenitly shown that he knows how to make a horror game.
Eh, "horror" should be used sparingly. 1 and 4 had great atmosphere to complement the jumpscares so I'd call them horror. But 2 was just a stress fest (keep track of ten things or else you die) and 3 had...um...the Springtrap Lean™. Spooooooooky. Really, the only reason the series took off was because YouTubers lost their minds while playing the original.

Yep.....I agree with that. Youtube helps bring a lot of games fame. 2 did have those strange minigames, though. The retro graphics and the constant robotic voice that keeps saying "S" "A" "V" "E" "T" "H" "E" "M" and "S" "A" "V" "E" "H" "I" "M" was extremely creepy to me. And the chance of purple guy's creepy-sprite randomly charging at you with the weird looking thing in his hand (Nobody can agree if it's a Phone, springlock lever, or a gun.) and causing your screen to freak out and say "you can't" during one of the mini-games is kind of scary. FNAF 3 does have some scary elements as well. Phantom Marionette jumpscare still creeps me out. His eye's just stare into your soul....ugghh.

Sister Location....I guess it's going to be about another "Chuck E. Cheese" like establishment that Fazbear Entertainment owns. If the Game Theorist's timeline is correct, then the game will most likely either take place after "FredBear's Family Diner" but before "Fredbear's" (Possible restaurant in FNaF 4) and "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza", at the same time as the two mentioned before, or after the two mentioned prior. I'm guessing their will be new animatronics, so it's probably not going to star a lot of the old animatronics.

Specifics: Scott stated that MatPat's theory on FNaF2, specifically, was almost completely spot-on. I don't believe he said much past that, other than he was disappointed by how everyone missed the mark on FNaF4, and, as such, he refused to open the box. I think he said that
before MatPat's "it was all a dream" video went up, thought, so who knows if he got it right then.

Copyright claim bruh. Scott even announced that those were the official names. Having beaten Update 2 for FNAF World, I can without a doubt say that the animatronic in the teaser is named

Baby. Fnaf world update 2 ends with the room that Scott's issitting at a desk in. He says her name is Baby, then the screen goes black and a pair of yellow eyes appears on screen and says something along the lines of "Ladies and Gentleman, please take your seats. The show is about to begin" at which point the lights go back on. The animatronic is no longer there but Scott lies dead at the desk, blood collecting on the table in front of him. The screen fades to black and "To be continued...." Appears.

I noticed that Funtime Freddy's holding a toy bonnie animatronic. Also, notice how both Funtime Foxy and Funtime freddy have speakers on there chests. MMaybe we'll get to here what mangle is actually saying in FNAF 2! Also, the meaning behind Baby's saying of "You don't know what we've been through." doesn't make much sense. I mean they all look Factory new.

This one actually has some really good points and evidence.
It ain't completely devoid of jumps, though. He extrapolates those abbreviations pretty quickly, as if they're perfectly obvious. But I like his points about the book and how it might tie into the games more. I did actually drop a comment expressing my frustration at how he's essentially click-baiting by releasing a theory this early, though.

Finally got a chance to watch it. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would have been. The biggest issue I have with it was the part near the end where he speculated that FTF was mangle. I know they obviously look similar, but the biggest problem with that theory is that their faces (the most recognizable part of both of them) is fundamentally constructed differently. Excluding their jaws, FTF's face is divided into four parts, whereas mangle's is one piece.
