If you check my art thread, most of the traditional art is literally pictures taken from my phone. If you have a scanner and you aren't lazy like me, that works better

Thanks for the tips...I'll upload a WIP version of the sketch as soon as I can...The sketch is from Undertale, so I might have to put it in a spoiler tag..

Putting my comments here so that characters and traits don't get spoiled

I like where you're going with this. If I could make a suggestion, I'd say re-think Chara's facial expression. Sure, they're evil, but the reason the character is so disturbing is because they look so innocent, albeit in a very fake and illusive way. The eyes are really what sell the underlying intentions.
But hey, I like what you have so far, what with the quotes in the background being obscured by the subject of the drawing. Looks great!

I just realized how hard it is to draw Undyne's eye...and mouth...and arms...and her ear fin things (whatever they are called)...
Believe it or not her hair and legs are really easy to draw.

I'm done with the previously posted Undertale drawing, and will post it as soon as I can. After Undyne. Who should I try and draw next? answer in the poll.

Love that new facial expression! I would color it :)

Guess I'll be working on that drawing a little more then!
Anyway, here's a WIP drawing of Undyne that I did.

It turned out okay...I guess. Still not finished yet.

Hey, awesome job on the [erk! spoiler!] pic, especially with the new facial expression. Really sets it off as especially creepy. If you do decide to color it, I know that the contrast will be even more awesome.

And Undyne's looking pretty good so far! Keep it up!

I don't know...the eye patch doesn't look right to me. I feel like I should do somerhing about that. I also kind of want to dix up her fins (ears?) because those are supposed to have sections where you can see through them. That's why you can see her hair behind her fin in her battle sprite.

Well, it's called a work-in-progress for a reason. For the eyepatch, I'd suggest actually drawing at least an outline for her other eye and then filling that in, then expand the borders of that a little to make it not look like just an eye socket. Her eyepatch does fit her eye's outline very closely.

Her facial expression is perfect!

I'm guessing I'll have to do a coin flip between Mettaton and Sans. If it is Mettaton, i'll probably try to draw his first form. Two more votes before i lock the poll

I really like how it turned out!

Really cool stuff here! iirc, mettaton has white glove hands, not robot pinchers. But yeah other than that really good!

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I was drawing based on memory, so thanks for that! I'll be sure to fix that when I finalize it.

I like how your finished drawing of <spoiler> turned out! It definitely looks better colored. A small tip though:

I know it's time consuming to try and draw softly first (I get impatient whenever I draw), but it helps so that you can avoid incomplete eraser marks from showing. I don't know how invested you are into drawing, but you could buy a pack of led pencils with varying shades of graphite (for example, 4H, HB, 2B, etc., where 4H is the softest, and 2B is the darkest)

Yeah, that's what I'm told. I really do need to get special drawing pencils, or at least try to draw lighter. Thanks for the tip

From my experience, you can actually ignore all the shades of pencils and just use a single HB, B, or 2B pencil. I've bought many many pencils of different shades over the course of my arting life, but it's really tedious switching between different pencils and it doesn't make too big a difference to the outcome. I switched to a mechanical .5mm 2B pencil and that pencil is all I use for everything when I draw, and I can just draw lightly if I feel like it.

Good job! I noticed that in some of your drawings, some parts of the body don't connect well with others. For example, in the Virison Virizion drawing, the front part of its body kind of curls up, and the back portion continues from a lower point. It kind of looks like it's connecting to the fur (whatever that is) on top. If you have trouble visualizing it, try lightly drawing something together, then erase the line that overlaps once you're satisfied. This also goes for facial or other body structures where something is protruding outward

For the Lucario drawing, I think it will help if you slightly bring down the line on his face (the black stripes). If you color it, then it works out perfectly because you wouldn't be able to see the eraser marks. Also, don't worry if something doesn't turn out the way you like it. Once you've added the finishing touches (erasing a few things, shading/coloring, etc.), you'll come to appreciate it more

I've decided that i shouldn't just let people choose between Undertale characters in the poll. So I've changed it and made it possible to choose a game or series you want to see me draw from, instead of a predetermined game.

Splatoon won! I've already started on the girl inkling and will probably post it later tonight or in the morning. Let me know who you eant to see me draw.

The next drawing should be the last drawing I do for Splatoon this time, so once I finish the next drawing, I'll add a new poll for you guys to choose the game i'll draw from next! Callie's winning so far....that's going to be difficult....uggghh..

I know I could just wait for someone else to vote on the poll, but I've actually always wanted to draw a crossover drawing.
I need suggestions for this drawing, though. So I'm going to add a specialized poll to see which combination is more popular as well as take suggestions from you guys. Just post a combination you might be interested in seeing.

Sooo....I'm still going to the the crossover, but due to the fact that I'm still trying to learn how to draw the FNaF characters, it's taking me some time. I've also drawn 3 different versions of Sans, for some reason. I'm working on a drawing of Papyrus giving Sans a ride on his shoulders at the moment, along with the crossover, so expect a rough sketch of that, along with the two other Sans drawings in the near future!

And before anyone asks, this was inspired by my friendship with Braix. Turns out thats the kind of inspiration I needed! I was going to put a text box that says A wild Braixen1264 and BrainyLucario appeared but didn't feel like i should. I really don't know if I should reconsider it, though. Adding that would, in a way, make it NSM fan-art (can it even be fan-art if I'm a member of NSM?) as well as Pokemon fan-art.
