I'm not actually posting art, but rather a request to the professionals out there, and by professionals I mean computer artists.
This winter I will continue posting covers on my channel, but this time I plan on putting them on iTunes, along with my original compositions.
I need artwork (in a square please!), one a logo/emblem for covers, and the other a square/emblem for compositions.
Along with this, if anyone's up for the challenge, I need a new banner and logo for my YouTube channel (My channel name is ShadowChords, but search 'MansionXx' to get my channel name)
It doesn't even need to be that proffesional, whether you did it on SketchBook or MS Paint, as long as long as it advertises my YouTube channel (ShadowChords) and that the cover/composition was MADE by ShadowChords, I'll be sure to consider it.
This is a non-profit project. I wish I could thank the future winner with a gift from my PayPal or credit card, but neither of those exist.
Title the topic 'Re: ShadowChords artwork' so I can find it. I'm sure everyone will make something great! Good luck, and thank you!

To your first point, I've seen the horrors of Tumblr and DeviantArt, so I'm not gonna look there. Anywhere else I can look?

Sure. Maybe could I get payment in form of promotion? Like you would put a link to me in your YouTube channel. I don't know how stuff works in iTunes so maybe not on there if you can't.

Seriously just draw a bunch of curves that eventually meet up together in GIMP, make a gradient with another color,fill it in with that color, add a different color for a background, done.

It's one thing to want free work, but if you're also asking the artist to use other people's intellectual property xD It makes more sense to do it yourself then.
Also, someone with the skill level you seem to want wouldn't just give away their time and effort. No one asks a surgeon for a free appendectomy lol.

So shop around around, message each artist you're interested in about how you like their stuff, and ask them if they want to work for free. Sounds so easy! Drawing tablet, Photoshop and art classes didn't cost a thing! /s

I would do it, except for the fact that I have no art experience, and I'm a typical white affluent, meaning I suck at computers.
If you reeeeeeeally want money, I could get it to you. My mom doesn't think I'm old enough to get a PayPal, but I am gettting either a credit or debit card soon. If you're willing to trust a 15 year old you don't know with personal bank account info and your address, I guess I could snail mail you a check (and I don't remember how to snail mail or write checks.) It's your only option, and also, how do I know someone's not scamming me? ($20-$50 would be my range, if you're curious.)

I don't need money, but that isn't really an excuse. I'm 14 years old and I obviously don't have a PayPal or anything either.
Then how do I get money? Well I ask my mom. Done. She makes the invoice from her PayPal, she gets the money in her account, and hands it to me in cash. ggez

If you're referencing Nintendo's strict guidelines of gameplay footage use and stuff like that, I totally see your point, but game freak is technically a third-party company, so I'm not sure if they have the same rules for official artwork and stuff, but if you are correct, then I guess I could give pictures of my cat, and you can copy Smooth McGroove.

That all aside though, I can still make you these for free but it'll take a while. I have a few stream overlay orders to complete and I have an animation project due next week that I have to catch up on, not to mention I don't have much frew time on weekdays and my time management is terrible.

It makes sense as a teenager, but most artists are out in the real world and don't want a promise of exposure (especially a minimal one) because that can't pay the bills. It's pretty rampant (a photographer had beef with Taylor Swift, someone with lots of money, using photos without payment or credit---after she told Apple they were ripping off aspiring musicians by songs for free for a month) to the point people think they're entitled to art because it doesn't seem like work to them.
But it's work. I don't expect anyone to just whip up what I can do with just Paint or a phone camera, because you have to learn how to use software and equipment. That takes time and skill.
