promise daily updates of something, then do that for about 3 days, then go to weekly, then biweekly, and finally only update once every year.

Never mind, I'm 14. Never reveal ages if the person is under 18. I don't know how job interviews work. So if you want to be in just say so and you're in.
Also I don't know how this newspaper stuff works(again, I'm 14) No asides, this isn't some personal advice column. Also no ages under 18. so help needed.
And how do you guys want to organize this thread? Leave your suggestions here. Punctuation is both useful and mandatory. Use it correctly or you're fired.

Set up a queue of who'd report on what day. They'd be responsible for posting the next issue. For example:
2/28/15: Latios212
3/7/15: braixen1264
3/4/15: mariolegofan

PMing a draft to other staff for review could work, but might not be necessary.

We can post each new news as a reply to the thread and edit as necessary. If there isn't a character limit to post, you can put them all in your original post under spoiler tags, but links are fine as well.

We are looking for:
3 Reporters, 2 Columnists, and at least one person to conduct various interviews.

Latios, I like your zeal and think you'd make a great head writer, but you need to submit an actual story before it's official. As far as the rest of you are concerned, write something and we'll see if it has the potential to be newsworthy for NSM. We'll likely just use the interviews Concerto will give if he ever actually does them. If not then I'll just conduct my own.

This is exciting  :P

The TWG Game may be inactive, but its participant's minds are quite the opposite as everyone wonders the same thing: WHERE'S DAVY?!  The creator has been gone for several hours now, and the phase update is much overdue.  Unable to find the creator himself, I interviewed a few of the players to try to establish the local opinion on Davy's disappearance.

mariolegofan: Well, today is [his] birthday.....hopefully he isn't dead. (At this point he defies logic and makes an "X" shape with his mouth)
emcee_mikey: Hm... that's quite a macabre thought.  So do you feel confident in a victory for your team at this point?
mariolegofan: Perhaps, I am still fairly new at the game.
emcee_mikey: Well, thanks very much!  One more quick question:  Could you tell us what role you are?

bubbles: TWG is fun, but no one is even posting so there's not much playing going on.  But there's some interesting roles so its still kinda fun.

emcee_mikey: Given the disappearance of game's creator Davy, what do you think will transpire next?

So here's what I think:  Each week, we find a headline story and 2 other little diddys that don't matter so much and PM them to Maestro for editing.  He sends it to zoroark, who picks and chooses and then on Saturday/Sunday he or maestro posts it into the thread.

New Happenings

New Member: cashwarrior1! Both cashwarrior1 and Kecleon have already arranged Pokémon tracks and are seem intent on doing more!

Another Maestro Project: The project is named Hexameron - An Invitation, an Adventure. Maestro aims to piece together unique variations of a single song, all arranged by a group of NSM arrangers! So far, deciding which song to experiment on has been difficult, but with polls finally up, the issue should be resolved within a week so the fun part (arranging) can begin!

Revival of Video Game Trivia: NocturneOfShadow and I found an old thread that blueflower999 was willing to continue hosting trivia on. Game on!

Dudeman writes things creatively: Just sit back and relax while reading one of Dudeman's short stories. (Seriously, more people need to read them. The Creativity Corner in general needs more love.)

Alright, so for my idea to work we need a functional draft of what could be seen in this thing. Propose ideas and write something and we'll see how it turns out.

I'd like to contribute a game or film or soundtrack review at least every couple of weeks. The reason I have "A NinSheetMusic Column" in my thread titles is because I had envisioned something like this where everyone contributed stuff on a semi regular basis.

I would ultimately like this to be a way for the community to come together and contribute something other than arrangements. By the community for the community.

I agree. This could be a good way for us all to come together and work towards at least doing something. I think we all can admit that NSM has never been one for seeing projects through, myself included. If we start with something small like this, who knows what we as a community could create!

^I'm usually up for it (see the unofficial first few issues). Where do we start for this week?

Wherever you feel like.  Let's try to get a spot or two for original content made by members (original stories, music, non-site arrangements, etc.) Let's highlight some of the goings on around here, like whenever we decide to do contests or other large games/tournaments. We should try to ignore some of the nastier drama that pops up from time to time, but we can still poke fun at some of the more frivolous activities of the members.

Let's try to make this a way for passers by to see what goes on behind the wall and get people to join because of it.

Pretty much. I haven't been doing much since I expected Maestro, the *cough* self-proclaimed "chief editor" to do something but then it all went to poop.

I will take over this publication effective immediately. I will reassign Maestro and deal with roles for the rest of you soon.

This idea was doomed from the start.

The NSM Yearly.

Any activity that requires doing something on a regular basis usually dies pretty quickly on NSM.

It's a well known fact.

This is still a good idea that could be continued. We just need to have active and dedicated members writing what happened. Or, you know, Maestro.

It feels like maestro doesn't post as much anymore.

...Not that I mind. :-X

Also not much interesting happens anymore as it was usually NSM drama that was written about and that hasn't happened since i was banned it seems like... and I really don't feel like starting any....

Drama is happening sorta so I guess you can write about that.

I'd prefer it to stop soon but anytime is ok.

It's more of an irritating debate topic for me not necessarily drama but you get the jist of it.
