To be added to the map, just post your general location.
People will be removed from this list and map after they have been inactive on the forums for 2 years. I reserve the right to change this amount of time at any point, with or without warning, based on the size of the list and contemporary additions. But for now, 2 years seems like a solid amount of time. Also be aware that these will happen on "purge dates" which means basically every couple months or so (I prospect) when I feel like going down the entire list and calculating the numbers (which takes a long time; hence every couple months).
You should probably remove people who are not active members of the forum.

I smiled seeing this, nice job JDMEK5!
Now we just need a list of who resides where on the map. Isn't there a way to embed the full-zoom map with the list in the first post? My BBC code abilities are weak as of yet.

Is it a bad sign if half of that flew right over my head? :P You mean put actual labels on the picture, right? That was the original purpose of the link (I found the old picture really messy with all those labels). But if you think that's what should be done, I'm sure I can figure it out.
Also: Picture now matches detailed map.
Wow... This is really fancy...is there a way to list more than one member at a single location?

Check the list on the "more detailed map". You're both there, just in the same place. So one of you hides the other. (Exact same thing just happened in Vancouver with rosabellis here and Greg)
Yeah, I don't live in Lithuania.
You can put me in San Francisco, California (or Copenhagen -- I wish I lived there -- but do SFO)
EDIT: I told SFK once I got my citizenship, I can be moved there. Fact is, I haz no Lithuanian citizenships yet.

JDMEK found my secret hideout! Eek!
That pic reminds me of junior high school recesses. There were some big groups of people always hanging around with each other (Europe/Usa&Canada) then there were some smaller groups of people (Australia) and then there was that guy who never hung out with anyone (Kman).

I built this based as closely as I could manage off the old map. If you want me to be more specific, give me a more specific location. ;)
(If you only gave me a state, I probably just put you right in the middle of the state, regardless of town/city locations)

Nah, I'm coming back to new york in 11 days anyways

Put me right in the Cape of Good Hope (formerly called Cape of Storm) ;) We got some good Steinway pianos down there. The only problem, is wherever you go, you hear "Song of Storms" being played all the time.
And why is that a problem?

yeah cape of storms wasn't exactly good for the tourism
Also yeah what makes that a problem
Well there are other reasons why it was called the Cape of Good Hope, but yeah, tourism would've been bad with the name.
It's bad because the piece, while a nice piece in and of itself, doesn't have all that much variety; even with a beautifully varied piece, you can only hear it so many times before you dread it.
Umm... I've listened to that piece for 10 hours before. Multiple times. Also the Serenade of Water. And Lon Lon Ranch. And many others. They make really nice background music. ;)
Lon Lon ranch is beautiful

So, seriously? And is this like South Africa we're talking about?
The Cape of Good Hope is off the west coast of Africa, under the northwestern bit that juts out into the ocean (forget the name, I think it's called the horn of Africa or something?).
And 10 hours? Try every goddamn day when all you want is a fecking sandwich.
the horn is in somalia
I'm wrong, then.. Bah I don't feel like going back and fixing it D:
Thought it was in South America.

The place I think you're referring to is the Gulf of Guinea area. Cuz Cape Town is way down south.
So this could go in the "I'm Away Topic" (http://forum.ninsheetmusic.org/index.php?topic=851.0) but basically my folks and I are making a road trip down to Orlando. The reason I'm putting it here is because since we're driving, I thought it would be cool to maybe get a chance to meet some of you on the way if you could and would care to. Maybe something like a ice cream run and maybe a picture or something as commemoration. Like I said, I'll be going with my family so there's no 1-on-1 pressure or anything and it's just a quick pit stop on the way. So yeah, I'm just kinda putting it out there in case somebody's up for it.
The people I'll be driving past are NocturneOfShadow, mariolegofan, SlowPokemon, and Jub3r7. So yeah I mean I'm not trying to be creepy or anything I just thought it would be cool to meet in person for once so yeah if anyone is down for a short visit or whatever just let me know. The times we'll be going through most of the US is sometime on the weekend of July 3rd. And if that doesn't work for someone, we do have to drive back north again after so maybe on the way back (from the 11-13ish) so, yeah.
Man, you're passing by Nocturne but not me?!
See, we're taking Interstate 94 on our way down and we have a time restraint on both directions of the trip so I'm not sure if we can bend into Iowa. Unless you wanted to help make it a little shorter by heading east a bit that would be really awesome but unfortunately Le Mars might be a bit too far for us this time.. We can't weave off the interstate too much. Like a little bit is ok but Le Mars is a little far if you know what I mean
Fair enough but you're missing the prime spot for an ice cream run lmao
Haha shoot well I'll have to make a point of getting there at some point eventually. :P
Maybe on the way back lol?

Guys, I think Yellow reproduces via mitosis. Green and Magenta are his new daughters.
And I begin to wonder what kind of Geography the users in this forum have learned... Of course the left-world is the world to the left. Shouldn't that be apparent? Groan... ;D no actually it is a small town near sioux city. My mom, dad, and, me lived there in a trailer when I was very little. Then we moved to sioux city, and then to Brandon SD because of my dad's job. He worked at the post office in sioux city doing maintenance on the postal machines. Then one day on the news it said that the sioux city post office was shutting down and, if we didn't move he would have to be a mail carrier and he did not want to do that so we moved. Now we're here and he still does the same job but at the post office in Sioux Falls.
Sorry guys should have asked mom before... They used to live in Sergeant bluff no council bluff!
Updated; also updated as many changed usernames as I was able to figure out.
Also, in an effort to purge an otherwise-forever-expanding list, I removed all users who have been inactive on the forums since before January 1, 2017. Seemed convenient to do right at the turn into 2019. If I have removed you in this process and you want back, just post again with your location and I'll slap you back on.
Also also, @Sebastian: I was trying to update your username but in the process somehow lost you on the map. Hate to make you jump through an extra hoop but if you give me your location again I'll put you back in. I recall you were in ND somewhere but now your profile says SC so idkmehyoutellme.
Uh.... Northwest Arkansas. The biggest "city" here is probably Fayetteville, Arkansas so I guess you can put me there. (Even though that's not exactly right.)

Dang it Lat you've gotta stop moving around on me.
For real though I'll try to get this updated (again) tonight.
Also I'm putting my little piece of protocol concerning removal-after-X-months-of-inactivity into the OP so it's clear and unalienable.
Updated the map link.
To be more specific I actually live in a small town a little bit above Brandon SD called corson.

Sorry mate; you're gonna stay as is until I update this thing again with more people. It's just way too much work for such a tiny change.
Hm, considering I'm more active (ish) again, want to re add me to Tempe, Arizona (USA; basically right next to Brassman)?
:)
Yoooo mate, blast from the past! Welcome back! I'll update in the next leisurely while, unless of course more people pile on here which will pile on the priority.
I'll pile on! I'm in Redmond WA nowadays (near a whole bunch of other people apparently, dang)
It's not a big deal like I need changed on the map, but I wanted to point that out.

Cool beans. I'll revise that detail when I update it again.
Cool man!
Might be a good idea to remove people who've been inactive for awhile, they probably don't want personal information freely available on a site they forgot about.
Define inactive
The wait time is 2 years.
I'm going to be meeting up with Winter in NYC on June 24th~

Good point. I'll get on that within the next day or so.
While you're at it, could you add me in Switzerland?
