Title: "Reviving the Requests"
Post by: spitllama on August 20, 2011, 05:36:55 PM
THIS TOPIC IS NO LONGER NECESSARY SINCE WE NOW HAVE A SUPAH COOL DATABASE HOLDING ALL THE REQUESTS. I LEAVE IT, TO NEVER TOUCH AGAIN ~KOOLOO-LIMPAH!

Last update: January 5th, 2012

This topic is a branch-off of the "Fulfilling the Requests" Project. Its intent is to bring attention to requests that have fallen to the hands of both

The end goal of this topic is to take requests from the "Fulfilling the Requests" Project (FtRP) that fit into these categories, and see if there are other users that would ALSO like to see the completion of a sheet. By expressing interest, you revive the request, sending it off of this thread, and back to the FtRP.
This thread also aims to keep the older requests available in one place, lessen the perceived number of recent requests for our arrangers, and help arrangers see these requests with some more organization.

The following requests have been selected because they have not received any responses from arrangers and the original requester has not been active for at least one year (some arrangers have expressed interest in some of these requests, but did not follow through)

Sub category A:) lists requests that have been replied to by other arrangers (with the intent of arranging) and the arranger's name (check with them if you want the piece!)
Sub Category B:) lists requests that have been replied to by other interested members/arrangers (without the intent of arranging)
Sub Category C:) lists requests that have not been replied to in terms of interest

And so,

Great thread llama, now if I were to accept to arrange some of these pieces, I just say so in my post?

Yep. Soon these sheets will actually be removed from FtRP, so just mention you'll arrange it here, and i'll make sure it gets put back under "in progress" in the FtRP. There's also that stickied topic about "in progress" too :)

Well, I can take a couple of these, but I won't be able to start them for a couple days, I'm going to buy a new version of Finale. (I have Songwriter 2009 right now, I either get the newest one or buy Printmusic, which I really don't have the money for.)

I'll take a few:
Final Fantasy XIII - Battle (proper Title is "Blinded by Light")
Final Fantasy XIII - Site theme (again, proper Title is "The Promised")
Elderscrolls III Morrowind - Theme

I believe you can upgrade from songwriter to printmusic for a lower cost than if you bought printmusic alone.

I didn't purchase songwriter, my friend got it for me. So I'm not sure how that would work.

if it's registered under your account on finale's website, you should be able to upgrade it.

Agreed. And I guess I'll just update this when WiiMan updates his.. otherwise it doesn't do much good.

I would definitely like to see us have a decent lineup of Okami sheets.

Umm...does the Dearly Beloved count as an actual request

I'd say so. It's still a request even if it wasn't through the forum.

Would you like to request any specific sheets? Or... just all of them lol

Well, I'll take the Final Fantasy IV Epilogue.
I guess I'll post this in the Fulfilling the Requests topic too?
Also, not doing Cammy's Theme/Stage.

EDIT: Final Fantasy IV Epilogue is in my thread.

I've starting arranging "Temporal Spire" and "Outlaw Spotted" from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2, so these sheet can be moved to the fulfilling the requests project.
