Here's me playing Aunt Marge's Waltz from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Rv-PM7TfCk
I know it's rushed and not played very well, but it is a difficult song for me.
Howl's Moving Castle vid will be coming shortly.
Indeed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z_RxdNHXbQ
That's me playing the Howl's Moving Castle theme. >:-)
Nice job! o: And I'm not just saying that because you sent me a PM telling me to view your vids xD
You and several other people... and that wasn't a lot of time to view my vids... ;) Either way, even if you didn't really watch them (;D) thanks a lot!
xD Well, I just finished watching Howl's Moving Castle, and now I'm watching Aunt Marge's Waltz :P
These are good. Seriously. ;D
OMG that's amazing.
I mean, you're great (even if you're not)
Wait
I mean... Nice job..
What?
Oh I should watch them huh.
well i did "hear" one.
yah
I watched The Merry Go Round of Life.
You chose a version of the sheet music that betrays your talent. ^_^ You have excellent form. You could push yourself a lot harder. :D
We get our broadband back tonight, so I'll check them out again, and very nice work. :D
I actually chose a very easy version and did my own thing with it. xD it's a work in progress.
Oh, very nice. :D
Oh yeah, and I did listen to them. If I remember correctly, the first song was performed well, but I just hated the song, and the second song(Howl's) was the most amazing song in the world (nice footwork) but there was quite a few blunders that were too apparent, don't stop to redo the measure, just continue.
I would point out that you would continue on as if the mistake never happened (most would not notice) but people very acquainted with the song would notice. but to keep the tempo going while even being shocked by those mishaps would be even more impressive.
I must say I am jealous of you memorizing the whole song, I would do it, but I'm lazy.
*claps*
Wow, the first one's fantastic. What I said before, X100. :D You're an extremely talented pianist.
For those few bits you're unsure of, and you've probably been told this, but practise them slowly. That builds up nerve memory, and then you can do them faster.
Though towards the end you break beat. Make sure you know the rhythm perfectly, again, starting slow. Otherwise it sounds great. :D
oooooooooo Relly well done. Good job! Also, the more I see you, (the face to the name topic, this video) the less of a resemblance I see between us.
Thanks, I appreciate that. :D
Today I'm uploading ETF's four-month-early birthday present, if my computer decides to cooperate.

;) You're welcome
EDIT: Also, Winter, check the description on the Spirited Away one; now it's more "yours" ;)
Love it :) thanks bud!
Really really nice videos! You can really play the piano. I love your videos! :D
xD Just for that, next I'm recording Gusty Garden. (I'm not sure how soon that will be, though)
Well, no Gusty Garden at this time, but there is a FANTASTIC (not really) rendition of Maple Leaf Rag and a rather so-so performance of "The Return" from Spirited Away, for Forrest as a compensation for that godawful One Summer's Day video. Please watch Maple Leaf at least! :)

Sky Station coming soon.
But Sky Station's already there.
Those were pretty cool!
Oh right.
Sky Station (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUTx21ECBEI)
I like this one better! :D
That intro part wasn't played correctly, but it sounds great for some reason! I did well!
...Except for the fact that they're both majorly rushed. -_- Oh well.
A couple Alice in Wonderland (2010) songs went up today for all you non-subbers.
Little Alice (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qlPwF5yrSA)
And for some reason Alice's Theme hasn't been uploaded yet... My brother may have been messing with it.. >=P
Uploaded Alice's Theme and "Alice and Bayard's Journey". Also right now I am uploading two songs, "Alice Escapes/The White Queen", two songs I combined together since they kind of segue into each other, and "Proposal".
Very proud of this rendition of the Simpsons Theme. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bCu85lqsn4&feature=channel_video_title)
Ron's Speech by Desplat is really pretty. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXjJdQsa5bs&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL)
Farewell to Dobby is so bittersweet. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXjJdQsa5bs&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL)
Watch them, especially Simpsons Theme. :D

Ah...those were better days...
Anyway my Route 6 arrangement (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2A-11H9xl4).
Wow, nice job. That must take a lot of memory skill. The piano is pretty nice too.
My arrangement of Route 4 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIh1y4He2iU). I hate how awful the 3DS's camera is...it's probably because of the lighting.

Your silhouette in the piano looks exactly like me! (As seen in your Beauty and the Beast video) There's more than just the same name between us... The right side of our faces look identical too!
AHAHAHAHA thanks Sariaball and the other, half identical Jordan.
And this whole time I always thought you looked like your avatar.. :P

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Well done!

It's a bone. -_- I have scrawny wrists. Don't be too insensitive about stuff like that.
Thank you for the compliments anyway, though.

Oh, my bad then. Sorry! It's just I don't remember seeing a wrist like that before. Maybe I have, but then I haven't payed much attention in them.
but your hands are still very sexy ;)
Not bad, Slow! Love this song. Can I ask where you found sheet music? I know Greg wrote a two-piano version.
Good job! SO CATCHY
It's in the official piano solo book of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, available for purchase on sheetmusicplus (http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/New-Super-Mario-Bros-Wii/19855566).

I wish I could paly the paino like you...
ik that piece was just so difficult
If anyone's interested, here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/fgz8k9eel6fzwr8/20150424%20125054.m4a?dl=0) is a lengthy recording (about fifteen minutes) of me improvising some Layton tunes from memory. A few weeks ago I was granted the chance to record a piece composed by a friend for his video game on one of my college's Steinway pianos, and I couldn't resist the chance to record some other stuff too because it's got such a lovely sound. I messed up quite a few times, probably because I was nervous about being recorded and it was from memory, but overall it's not a bad recording. The pieces I play from in this recording are:
1. "Professor Layton's Theme" from Professor Layton and the Curious Village
2. "Puzzles" from Professor Layton and the Curious Village
3. "About Town" from Professor Layton and the Curious Village
4. "Folsense" from Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box
5. "More London Streets" from Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
6. "Misthallery's Many Canals" from Professor Layton and the Last Specter
7. "Monte d'Or: City of Miracles" from Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
8. "Labyrinthia" from Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
9. "The Silver Peaks of Froenborg" from Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy
10. "Professor Layton's Theme" from Professor Layton and the Curious Village
All arrangements by me except for "About Town" which was arranged by Bloop & Bubbles. If anyone takes the time to listen through this, let me know if you like it!
WOW man.....wish I could play that good. :P
Nice memory!
If I'm being totally honest "Puzzles" sounds a bit off but everything else is really great, I love it.
I wouldn't know because I haven't played the Layton series (yet).
But I love the music!
Ahhhhh thank you guys so much!! Thanks for listening!
I finally found the time to listen to it.
Excellent work. I wish I could just play that many songs from memory, and play them that well.
Ahhh thank you!! Tbh it's some memory but also improvisation/knowing what the sound should be for a lot of them. For example, I don't have "Puzzles" or "The Silver Peaks of Froenborg" written out anywhere, I just sort of rely on my ear to figure out the chords. And like I never sat down and memorized any of the others, I just played them with the sheets for a while and eventually developed a sense of the piece/its structure. In ways it's really limiting not having a score in front of you, but it can also be freeing. I wasn't planning on playing Labyrinthia until I realized a ways in that I didn't have anything from PLVAA lined up. So where a score wouldn't have left room to add it, doing this on the spot let me transition into it where it wasn't before.
Hey Ace Attorney fans, and especially Maelstrom! I was improvising on the piano today and decided to record a little Ace Attorney medley. It has simple piano versions of the "Objection!" themes from the first trilogy of Ace Attorney games, as well as a surprise that I recorded just for Maelstrom--you'll understand when you hear it. ;) (FYI, I DID have the sheets for the surprise music in front of me--the others were improvised)
This is a sort of "going away" present for you, if you will. Hope you all like it!

Excellent job, especially with that last piece. ;)
This will definitely be on my iPod for that 14 hour flight.
But really, I couldn't stop smiling. Wonderful job.
Some actual criticism:
Really, really excellent job with the first three. You sounded a bit more confident with those than the hard parts of the last piece.
As much as I love the last song, it took up slightly more than half of the entire recording. That might be a little much, compared to the length of all the other songs.
Oh it's Very Nice Performance Video.
