I haven't played any of the Mass Effects, but I loved Oblivion and Morrowind. So I have a strong feeling this will be just as epic. I just hope they give you ability to give NPC's job when you become the guild master of whatever guild it may be. I hate that I couldn't have people steal stuff for me when I became the Gray Fox.

I haven't played enough of Morrowind. Though I have it on Xbox, and the controls suck. Might pick it up later. But I adored Oblivion. It was and still is one of my favourite games. A few bugs and glitches and whatnot, but hopefully they'll all be fixed.

I wasn't too fussed about controlling underlings. I was just happy having a small army that walked around with you. Except they didn't do a lot...And the Adoring Fan was just annoying.

Needless to say, I'm extremely excited for Skyrim.

And I haven't played any of the ME's either. I want to though. I've heard almost nothing but good.

You can get them both for crazy cheap now.  It probably doesn't matter whether you get 360 or PC, but I think you can make it look a bit prettier on PC.  If you have the hardware.

But seriously, GET THEM.

I need a new computer. :|

Oh, Skyrim's apparently being built with a different engine than Oblivion and Morrowind.

Well of course it is, the old one was kinda bad (Same as Fallout 3 and New Vegas).

And Morrowind was on an older one than Oblivion anyway.

I thought Oblivion's was the same as Morrowind's just with a few tweaks. Meh. Everything should just use the Source engine. :P

And the best character in the game.

I they don't bring him back I will be sorely disappointed.

I'm glad they're not doing Summerset Isles like it was rumored. Skyrim is totally a much more badass place. I remember reading a few books in Oblivion about the different tribes of vampires of Skyrim that hide under the ice of frozen lakes, and when people would walk over the ice they would be pulled under by the vampires without breaking or disturbing the ice. That sounds like it'd be terrifying if they added that concept into the game, but it's one of the awesome aspects of the region.

God damn, the soundtrack to that trailer was enough to make me want to play Oblivion all over again, only it was so much better.

After playing through Skyrim some more, I've noticed a few things that need fixing. First off, and this a fairly minor, is that shadows are insanely pixelated. This may not be true on the PC when graphics are max quality and may just be something where quality was sacraficed so the game could run more smoothly on the Xbox.

A big problem I'm having is when entering and sometimes exiting the Whiterun Stronghold, the game will freeze up while loading. Usually it will unfreeze but I have had to restart the system because of it. I've also encountered a few other glitches such as when entering Alvo's(or what that one blacksmith dude's name was)house, even though the door was open I still ended up getting shanked by his wife as he beat me with his fists. Later I came back and found the door was locked for several days(as I waited for it to open). Finally I just decided to pick the lock and go in. When I did I was greeted with smiles and sunshine as if I hadn't just pick the lock of their door and break into their house.

But these glitches are still VERY minor in comparison to how kickass this game is. LIKE HOW FUCKING AWESOME THE DUNGEONS ARE.

The world in Skyrom, compared to Oblivion, feels so much more alive and real. I personally cannot stop being amused by how awesome the water ways are in this game. Using raging rapids are your primary mode of transportation just doesn't seem to get old. You can mine materials, craft and improve weapons, and get married. They've just expanded the Elder Scrolls to a whole new realm of awesome.

THIS GAME IS LEGEN-wait for it-DARY. LEGENDARY.

360 graphics quality are akin to medium-high quality on PC (with "Ultra" being the highest stock setting (one above high) and texture mods making it look even better)

So I just Got The Elders Scroll V: Skyrim (Legendary Edition) today. I know I should have gotten the game sooner, but the point is I have it.  I've played Skyrim before but never this version. Anything I should expect?

I told you that you should look around the site more. You're probably going to start quoting the "Lusty Argonian Maid", aren't you?
